In the older macOS versions listed under the App Store section, choose High Sierra and select Get. If the link does not open as expected, Apple recommends trying it in Safari.
Download High Sierra from Apple

On a Mac, open Apple’s How to download and install macOS page.

Find macOS High Sierra 10.13 in the older versions available through the App Store, then select its link. High Sierra is listed in the App Store section; Apple’s separate browser-download list is for Sierra and earlier versions.

Select Get in the App Store. If Software Update asks whether to download macOS, approve the download.

When the installer opens from the Applications folder, follow its prompts to install, or quit the installer if you want to keep the app for later.
Apple notes that some older macOS versions are available through the App Store or as browser downloads. The High Sierra link is the App Store route, not a standalone direct browser download.

Check whether your Mac can run High Sierra
Before troubleshooting an App Store link, compare the Mac’s model and resources with Apple’s published macOS High Sierra technical specifications.

Apple also says High Sierra uses approximately 1.5 GB more space after upgrading than macOS Sierra 10.12.6. The model list is the general compatibility list; individual High Sierra features may require newer Macs.

If the App Store link does not work
A dimmed Get button or a message that the requested version is unavailable or incompatible with the Mac can indicate a compatibility or availability issue. Apple does not promise that the link will work for every Mac or App Store storefront. Try opening the Apple page in Safari, and verify the model and requirements above.
If you need to reinstall macOS because Software Update fails or the Mac has no working operating system, Apple recommends using macOS Recovery. Recovery is a reinstall route rather than the App Store download path described above.

Optional: make a bootable USB installer
A bootable installer can help when installing on multiple Macs or when other installation methods cannot be used. It is optional for downloading High Sierra from the App Store. Apple says 32 GB is sufficient for any macOS installer and provides instructions for making High Sierra installation media on its bootable installer guide.

Connect a removable volume intended for the installer, then follow Apple’s bootable-installer instructions and use the High Sierra
createinstallmediacommand shown there forInstall macOS High Sierra.app. -
Check that the command targets the correct volume before running it. Creating the installer erases the selected volume, so copy off any files you want to keep first.
