What kind of game is Hellraiser: Revival?
Saber describes Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival as a single-player, first-person action horror survival game. Its story follows Aidan after his girlfriend, Sunny, activates the Genesis Configuration, a mysterious puzzle box. Aidan enters the Labyrinth trying to save her, confronting the Cenobites, the Scarlet Church led by Marlowe, and the Unworthy along the way. Saber’s official game page and a PlayStation Blog post by Saber Game Director Emil Esov describe the premise and combat.
The Genesis Configuration is part of the action as well as the story: Saber says players combine its abilities with conventional weapons, and Esov says Aidan can attack while dual-wielding weapons and box powers. These are developer descriptions, not independent gameplay testing.
When does it release, and what platforms are confirmed?
Saber lists October 8, 2026, as the release date, and Steam gives the same date for the full game. Saber’s platform list names PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam. Esov also confirms a PS5 release in both digital and physical formats. Edition availability and purchase options can vary by region, so check the relevant local storefront for current details. Steam’s full-game listing specifies the following PC requirements. These are listed configurations, not measured performance targets; they do not establish a particular frame rate or resolution.

Steam and Saber’s FAQ do not agree on minimum CPU and storage
Saber’s FAQ lists a minimum AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel Core i5-4690 processor and 50 GB of storage. Steam’s full-game listing instead specifies a Ryzen 5 1500X or Core i5-8400 and 80 GB. Both sources list 8 GB RAM and a GTX 1660 or RX Vega 64 as the minimum graphics class, though Steam specifies 8 GB of VRAM for the RX Vega 64. For checking whether a PC is ready, use Steam’s complete current full-game table above rather than combining values from the two lists. The Steam listing and Saber FAQ are the respective sources.

How to check a Windows PC against the Steam list
- Check Windows: confirm that the PC runs 64-bit Windows 10 version 22H2 or later.
- Compare the processor: check the exact CPU model in Windows’ System Information app and compare it with the minimum or recommended processor listed above.
- Check memory and graphics: compare installed RAM and the exact graphics card model with the relevant Steam tier.
- Confirm free storage: make sure 80 GB is available. Steam recommends an SSD, but does not make it a listed minimum requirement.
Meeting a listed tier only indicates that the PC matches the published specification; the requirements do not promise specific performance.
What does the demo include?
The Steam demo, listed as released on September 17, 2026, covers the prologue and part of Episode 1. Its description says it introduces puzzle solving, crafting, and combat. The listing warns that the demo is a pre-release build and that progress will not transfer to the full game. Its separate 50 GB storage specification applies to the demo, not the full game, and does not resolve the full-game storage difference between Steam and Saber’s FAQ. How long is the game, and does it require an internet connection?
Saber estimates “Around 8- 12 hours of gameplay.” That is the publisher’s estimate, not an independently timed playthrough. Saber’s FAQ also says an internet connection is not required. It says post-launch content is not planned at this time; that describes current plans, not a guarantee. Saber’s FAQ is the source for these details.
