The most dependable free-to-play routine in HEIR OF LIGHT: Eclipse is to collect idle rewards, complete the tasks shown in your current mission board, and push Chapter Stories until your team hits a real wall. Then use unlocked modes to address the specific bottleneck—Gear, upgrade materials, or stronger formation tactics—instead of spending premium currency on an unverified summon plan.
Build progress around idle rewards and the live mission board
HEIR OF LIGHT: Eclipse is a team-based idle collection RPG. Com2uS Holdings’ Google Play listing, updated 14 May 2026, describes 5v5 battles, PvE and PvP, guild dungeons, faction combinations, and rewards earned through its idle system. Its claims of “over 1,000 possible combinations” and “more than 6 factions” are publisher figures, not independently measured comparisons: Google Play listing.
Idle rewards make regular collection useful even when you are not actively fighting. A BlueStacks beginner guide identifies idle rewards among several sources of Servant XP and Gold, but its task requirements are not confirmed as current. Treat any older checklist as a reminder to inspect the game—not as a substitute for the current mission board.
A practical daily check
- Collect available idle or Auto Purify rewards. Check the live interface for accumulated rewards and claim them when available.
- Use available quick-collection actions. BlueStacks lists Quick Purify as a routine action; confirm its current availability, cost, and reward in-game before using it.
- Complete the accessible daily tasks shown in-game. The older guide mentions PvP attempts, Guild Dungeon, Abaddon, and Gear enhancement. Requirements and rewards may have changed, so follow the live task list.
- Spend available attempts in unlocked modes. Choose the mode that matches your current need rather than entering every activity without a goal.
- Claim event rewards you have earned. Event conditions can vary; read the current event screen before committing resources or attempts.
This is a sensible routine, not a proven optimal schedule. The sources do not establish a guaranteed free-to-play progression speed or a current daily task rotation.

When story progress stalls, diagnose the team before spending
Chapter Stories use five-on-five battles, and Com2uS Holdings’ June 2024 whitepaper identifies Tank, Warrior, Ranger, Mage, and Support as the game’s classes. The same whitepaper stresses five-person synergy. As a practical starting point—not a guaranteed best composition—build for the problem in front of you: enough survival to keep the team standing, damage to finish enemies, and support where the fight calls for it. Class labels alone do not establish which Servants are strongest or how every encounter should be built.
Formation and faction interactions can also matter. The publisher’s Google Play listing advertises a wide range of faction combinations, which is one reason a universal lineup is unlikely to suit every stage. No current official tier list or verified best free-to-play build order is established by the available sources.

Adjust one thing at a time
- If the team falls quickly: review role coverage and try a different placement for durable Servants.
- If enemies survive too long: consider whether the lineup has enough damage for the encounter, rather than assuming another round of leveling is the only answer.
- If a particular enemy or floor is causing trouble: test positions and faction fit before replacing the whole team.
For Abaddon specifically, the June 2024 whitepaper says, “Switching around Servants’ positions is a good countermeasure against tough enemies.” That is useful tactical guidance for difficult floors, not a promise that repositioning will solve every encounter: Com2uS Holdings’ whitepaper.
Choose a mode by the bottleneck it addresses
The publisher’s 13 June 2024 whitepaper describes several distinct progression modes. Use those descriptions to decide where to direct available attempts, but check the current in-game rules for rewards, unlocks, and schedules.

These are historical mode descriptions, not a current reward schedule. For example, the whitepaper’s stated Dimension Rift cadence dates to 2024; use the mode’s live screen rather than assuming that timing still applies.
Spend upgrade resources with a clear purpose
BlueStacks describes Servant XP as a leveling resource, Gold as useful for equipment and Servant enhancement, and Karat as premium currency used for summons. It also names idle rewards, events, quests, and chapter clears as XP and Gold sources. Because those economy details are not corroborated by current official economy data, inspect each resource’s in-game description and current upgrade costs before committing scarce materials.

- Prioritize upgrades that address the reason your team is stuck, such as survival or damage, rather than spreading resources across every Servant without a plan.
- Read the current event and mode rules before spending attempts or materials; rewards and requirements can change.
- Treat Karat as scarce until you have checked the current summon details, including any rates or guarantees shown in-game.
Do not rely on summon rates or new-player reward figures from an undated third-party guide as current facts. The reviewed sources do not establish a current official rate table, pity or guarantee rules, or a verified banner strategy for free-to-play accounts.

The publisher’s Google Play listing discloses in-app purchases, including random items, and Com2uS Holdings’ Special Shop sells digital Ruby packs for use on in-game offers: Com2uS Holdings Special Shop. Those facts describe monetization; they do not show that spending is necessary to progress, nor do the sources quantify a free-to-play-versus-spender gap.
