Epic’s October 1, 2026 Fortnitemares announcement does not name either series. One Piece has been reported as a purported leak, while Chainsaw Man appears in fan speculation—not as a confirmed collaboration.
What Epic has officially announced
Epic Games’ October 1, 2026 Fortnitemares announcement lists that event’s announced properties and content, but does not mention One Piece or Chainsaw Man. That post therefore does not confirm either collaboration. It only establishes what Epic named in that specific announcement; it does not rule out announcements made elsewhere.
What the One Piece claim is based on
Vice reported on September 13, 2026, that a One Piece crossover had reportedly been leaked by dataminers. Vice also said Epic had not officially announced the collaboration or a release date. Treat this as attributed leak reporting, not confirmation that the crossover is coming.
A Reddit discussion dated October 6 interprets a purported AMIE line about wanting to ride on a boat as a possible One Piece hint. The discussion reflects players’ interpretation; the line’s meaning is not established as Epic’s intended teaser. The reported dialogue should not be treated as an authenticated official quote.

What remains unknown
The sources reviewed establish no official release date, cosmetics, or gameplay details for either collaboration. For One Piece, the available claim remains leak reporting without an official announcement; for Chainsaw Man, it remains fan speculation.
