Which multiplayer modes does Halo: Campaign Evolved support?
The confirmed multiplayer option is cooperative play through the campaign. You can play with friends online or share a console in split-screen on supported systems.

Can Xbox, PlayStation, and PC players play together?

Can you play split-screen co-op?
Two people can play campaign co-op locally on one Xbox Series X|S or PS5. This is console-only: PC split-screen is not supported. Local split-screen is distinct from online co-op; adding players connecting from other devices changes the account and subscription considerations.
Do you need Game Pass or PlayStation Plus?
No subscription is required for two-player local console split-screen. For networked co-op involving multiple consoles or PCs, subscription needs depend on the platform and account setup. Accounts and connection details to check before joining
- For online sessions involving supported console split-screen, each player needs an Xbox or PlayStation Network account; guest accounts are not supported.
- The Fireteam Leader’s departure or disconnection ends the session.
- Halo Support recommends that the player with the fastest, most stable connection host, because co-op networking quality depends on the Fireteam Leader’s connection.

Halo: Campaign Evolved launched globally on July 28, 2026, at 8 a.m. PDT; Japan and some Asia-Pacific markets had a July 29 launch date.
