Google’s newest Pixel Watch 5 faces are reportedly appearing on the Pixel Watch 4 through Google Pixel Watch Faces app version 4.2.12.989940186. The reported rollout is uneven, and current reports do not confirm support for the Pixel Watch 3, Pixel Watch 2, or the original Pixel Watch.
Which new faces are reportedly arriving?
Pixel Watch 4 owners have reported seeing five Pixel Watch 5 faces in the Google Pixel Watch Faces app: Weave, Chronograph, multicolor Modular, multicolor Reveal, and the Stephen Curry face. The model-specific details come from community reports dated October 8–9, 2026, rather than a Google announcement. Community reports
How to check your Pixel Watch 4
- On your Pixel Watch 4, open the Google Pixel Watch Faces app and check which faces are available to you.
- On the watch, open the face-selection options and look for the reported designs.
- If the new faces are not listed, check Google Play for an available update to Google Pixel Watch Faces, then check the face choices again later. Reports describe availability as uneven, so devices may not show the change at the same time. Community reports
Google’s watch-face help explains how to change among available faces and notes that current versions of the Pixel Watch app and Google Photos app are needed for relevant settings. Those general instructions do not establish that a particular face is compatible with a particular watch.
What about Pixel Watch 3, 2, or the original Pixel Watch?
The reports identify the Pixel Watch 4 as the older model receiving these faces. They do not confirm compatibility with the Pixel Watch 3, Pixel Watch 2, or first-generation Pixel Watch, and they provide no schedule for those models. Google’s general help page and Google Play listing do not verify this rollout or settle model compatibility.
