The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold pairs an 8-inch inner screen with a 6.5-inch cover display, Tensor G6, 16 GB of RAM, and foldable-focused software. Its strongest case is the roomier screen and Google’s Gemini and accessibility features; its limits are that the available evidence does not establish independent battery, speed, camera, or durability results. Google announced it on August 12, 2026, with shelves scheduled for August 20.
What the Pixel 11 Pro Fold offers
Google’s specifications describe a premium foldable built around a large internal display rather than a compact phone that happens to open. It is available in 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB configurations, each listed with 16 GB of RAM. The processor is Google’s Tensor G6.
Google’s US specifications page showed a $1,899 price when reflected in the available listing. It also displayed a promotional $1,269 price after eligible trade-in. That offer depends on eligibility and can change; check the current Google Store listing for your market before buying. The announcement said preorders were open and the phone would reach shelves August 20, 2026.
How large are the displays, and what does the phone weigh?
The cover display is a 6.5-inch Super Actua OLED panel with 1080 × 2342 resolution, 399 ppi, and a 1–120 Hz refresh rate. Open the phone to use its 8-inch Super Actua Flex OLED display, rated at 2076 × 2152, 372 ppi, and 1–120 Hz. Google lists peak brightness up to 3,600 nits for each screen; that is a manufacturer specification, not an independent brightness measurement.

Google lists the folded dimensions as 6.1 × 3.0 × 0.4 inches and the unfolded dimensions as 6.1 × 5.9 × 0.2 inches. Weight is listed at 8.4 ounces. Google says the phone is almost 10% lighter and about 1 mm thinner than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Those relative figures are the company’s comparison, not an independent measurement.
Does the software make the inner screen more useful?
Google highlights Split Screen, Drag and Drop, Instant View, and bubbles for multitasking. These features are intended to take advantage of the expanded display, but the published material here does not establish how well they perform in everyday use or how they compare with rival foldables.
The phone is designed for Gemini Intelligence, according to Google. That describes the company’s software positioning; it does not by itself demonstrate faster performance or a specific improvement in task quality. Tensor G6 and 16 GB of RAM are the listed hardware foundation, but independent performance results are not established here.

Sign-to-text is a notable accessibility feature
Google says the front camera can recognize American Sign Language signing and show translations on the outer display, with support involving Live Transcribe and Gboard. Justin Savich, a Google Group Product Manager, described it as: “Developed in partnership with the Deaf community, it lets signers express themselves in Live Transcribe and Gboard in their native language.” The available product information does not provide independent accuracy testing or a complete list of supported languages, so buyers should verify language and usage details with Google before relying on it.
What camera hardware does it have?
The rear system comprises a 48 MP wide camera, a 10.5 MP ultrawide with autofocus and Macro Focus, and a 10.8 MP 5× telephoto camera with optical image stabilization. Google lists Super Zoom up to 30× and optical-quality steps at 0.5×, 1×, 2×, 5×, and 10×. Announced software features include Magic Capture and Camera Looks.
These specifications describe the hardware and advertised features, not the quality of the resulting photos. The available review material does not provide a substantiated independent camera comparison or image-quality test, so megapixel counts and zoom labels alone are not enough to conclude that it outshoots another foldable.

How long does the battery last, and how does charging work?
Google lists a typical battery capacity of 4,806 mAh, with a minimum capacity of 4,658 mAh, and advertises more than 24 hours of battery life. That duration is a manufacturer claim; no independent battery rundown result is established in the available material.

Google announced a model-specific Pixel 11 Pro Fold case with an integrated hinge cover. That is a protective accessory, not proof of the phone’s drop resistance or hinge durability. The available information does not establish an independent durability test or repair and support terms, so check Google’s current regional warranty and repair information before purchase.
How does it compare with other foldables?
The Pixel’s clearest documented distinction is its combination of an 8-inch inner screen, Google software features, and sign-to-text support. The available evidence does not provide comparable weight, battery-test, camera-test, repair, or price data for competing models, so it cannot support a complete head-to-head verdict.
TechRadar’s August 20, 2026 review called it “the best folding Pixel yet” while saying it did not beat Samsung’s best; Tom’s Guide published an August 19, 2026 review framed around the phone “Falling behind the foldable curve.” Those are editorial judgments, not a substitute for comparable test results.
