If you mean the latest matching flagships, this comparison is between the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Choose the Pixel if Google’s Pixel features, Qi2-certified magnetic charging, and its stated update commitment appeal to you. Choose the Galaxy if you want an integrated S Pen, separate 3x and 5x telephoto cameras, or the slightly larger stated display. Those specifications alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos or lasts longer between charges.

Which phone suits your priorities?
Pick the Pixel 10 Pro XL for Google’s features and magnetic charging
The Pixel is the more natural fit if you prefer Google’s Pixel ecosystem and software features, want Qi2-certified magnetic Pixelsnap charging, or value the specific update commitment Google publishes for the phone. Its listed rear camera system includes one 5x telephoto module; Google also identifies optical-quality zoom steps at 2x and 10x, among others. That is a different hardware arrangement from Samsung’s two dedicated telephoto cameras, not proof of inferior or superior photos.

The Galaxy makes more sense if you expect to use an integrated stylus for handwriting or other pen workflows. Samsung lists separate 3x and 5x telephoto cameras, giving the hardware lineup two dedicated telephoto modules. Its headline display measurement is also 6.9 inches, compared with Google’s 6.8 inches, although Samsung’s stated rounded-corner measurement is 6.7 inches.

How do the displays compare?
Both phones have high-refresh-rate OLED displays with a manufacturer-stated range reaching 120Hz. Google specifies a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED panel at 1344 × 2992. Samsung specifies a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel and clarifies that 6.9 inches is measured across the full rectangle; the rounded-corner diagonal is 6.7 inches, and the viewable area is smaller still. The headline diagonals therefore suggest a modest size difference, not a like-for-like measurement of visible screen area.
What do the camera specifications tell you—and what do they not?
The Pixel lists a 50MP wide camera, a 48MP ultrawide with Macro Focus, and a 48MP 5x telephoto. Samsung lists a 200MP wide, 50MP ultrawide, 50MP 5x telephoto, and 10MP 3x telephoto. Samsung calls 3x and 5x optical zoom and 2x and 10x optical-quality zoom; Google labels 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 5x, and 10x as optical-quality steps and lists Pro Zoom up to 100x.

These labels and megapixel counts do not settle photo or video quality. The cited manufacturer material does not compare image processing, low-light results, stabilization, video, or real-world zoom detail between the phones. If camera output is your deciding factor, consult independent tests that directly compare these exact models rather than treating the specification sheet as a quality verdict.
Battery capacity and charging: the useful distinction
Google lists a typical 5,200mAh battery and says the Pixel can reach up to 70% in about 30 minutes using a 45W USB-C PPS charger or higher. That charger is sold separately. The phone also supports Qi2-certified Pixelsnap charging up to 25W. Samsung lists a typical 5,000mAh battery, but the cited launch material does not provide a matching charging-rate figure for a direct comparison.

Price and availability depend on where you buy
There is no established universal price winner here. Retail prices, storage configurations, regional availability, carrier financing, trade-ins, and promotions vary by market and can change. Samsung’s announcement refers to a qualifying trade-in offer, but eligibility and terms are limited; check the current offer in your region before using it to compare total cost.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsWhat specifications cannot decide
The cited manufacturer sources do not establish a winner for camera output, battery runtime, gaming speed, thermal behavior, network reception, durability, or repairability. Nor do they provide a matched current street-price comparison. Those questions require comparable independent testing or region-specific purchase quotes, rather than an inference from component figures.
