Its listing does not make either APK an official TECNO or Google download, and it does not establish that the linked file is safe or suitable for your particular phone. The available sources do not show which cameras, modes, HDR processing, video features, or front-camera functions work in either build.
What phone and software are these options intended for?
TECNO identifies the device as the POVA Curve 2 5G and lists HiOS 16 based on Android 16, a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor, a 50 MP and 2 MP rear-camera setup, and a 13 MP front camera. Why Android 16 does not guarantee GCam compatibility
Camera apps rely on the camera capabilities a device exposes, not just its Android version or megapixel counts. Android’s Camera2 documentation describes hardware support levels such as LEGACY, LIMITED, FULL, and LEVEL_3, along with individual capabilities apps can query. How to choose between the two listed builds
There is no reliable head-to-head test for these builds on the POVA Curve 2 5G, so neither can be called the best, stable, or recommended working option. A meaningful comparison would need to identify the exact APK and HiOS version tested, whether installation and launch succeed, which front and rear cameras and modes work, stability, and image and video results against the stock camera.
