GitHub Universe 2024では何が発表された？

Copilotで発表されたモデルと開発支援
モデル選択は段階的な提供計画だった
GitHubは、CopilotでAnthropic Claude 3.5 Sonnet、Google Gemini 1.5 Pro、OpenAI o1-preview、o1-miniを選べるようにすると発表しました。ただし、2024年10月29日の英語版発表で示された時期は一律ではありません。o1-previewとo1-miniは当時Copilot Chatで利用可能とされ、Claudeは翌週にかけて順次展開、Geminiは数週間以内の提供予定でした。

その後、GitHubは2024年11月1日の変更履歴で、Claude 3.5 SonnetがCopilot顧客向けのパブリックプレビューになったと告知しました。BusinessおよびEnterpriseでは管理者による有効化が必要とされています。これらは2024年当時の展開状況を示す情報であり、現在のモデル一覧や利用条件を示すものではありません。
コード作成からプルリクエストの確認まで
GitHubはCopilot Workspace、コードレビュー、Autofix、サードパーティ製Copilot拡張機能を含む、プルリクエストの変更案を整え検証するワークフローを紹介しました。VS Codeでは複数ファイルを編集する機能を取り上げ、Copilotによるコードレビューも発表しています。

GitHub Modelsはモデルやプロンプトを試すための機能
GitHub Modelsは、OpenAI、Cohere、Microsoft、Mistralなどのプロバイダーのモデルを比較・実験する場として紹介されました。プロンプトやパラメーターを保存・共有する機能のほか、クックブックやSDKによる利用支援も案内されています。Sparkがアプリの試作を主眼に置くのに対し、Modelsはモデルやプロンプトを試すことに焦点を当てています。いずれも発表時の内容であり、現在の提供状態を確定する情報ではありません。
セキュリティ、企業向け機能、GitHub Actionsの発表

Copilotコードレビューについては、後続の公式更新で進展が確認できます。GitHubは2025年4月4日までに、有料Copilot加入者向けに一般提供を開始したと案内しました。組織や企業では、ポリシーを通じて有効化できます。2026年3月5日のGitHub変更履歴では、エージェント型のツール呼び出しアーキテクチャで動作し、Copilot Pro、Pro+、Business、Enterpriseで一般提供されていると説明されています。

2026年6月以降のプライベートリポジトリでの利用料金
2026年6月1日から、プライベートリポジトリでコードレビューを実行すると、プランに含まれるGitHub Actionsの実行時間を消費するようになりました。枠を超えた分は標準のActions料金で請求され、Copilotの利用分はAI Creditsとして請求されます。GitHubの告知では、パブリックリポジトリのActions実行時間の扱いに変更はないとされています。
