Which NIC Islamabad startups stood out at GITEX 2025?
NIC Islamabad named Brainswarm Robotics, Najoomi, and EMR Chains as its three representatives at GITEX Global 2025. Their reported activity spanned robotics, AI-powered customer services, and digital health records. The event accounts describe participation and announcements, not evidence of subsequent commercial results.
These three companies were part of a broader Pakistani presence. In an announcement dated 14 October 2025, Pakistan’s Ministry of IT & Telecom said it facilitated 10 startups at GITEX and that more than 20 Pakistani IT and technology companies exhibited under the national pavilion. Those are separate national-level counts, not figures for the NIC Islamabad group.

Brainswarm Robotics: a reported robotics MoU
TechJuice described Brainswarm Robotics as Islamabad-based and reported that it signed a memorandum of understanding with WolfTech Robotics at GITEX. The stated aim was cross-border robotics innovation and joint technological development.

TechJuice identified Saran Khaliq as Brainswarm’s CEO and founder and quoted him saying: “This collaboration marks a pivotal step toward advancing robotics innovation across borders. Through this partnership, we aim to create meaningful technological advancements and real-world impact.” This is Khaliq’s stated ambition; the report does not demonstrate that the MoU resulted in a product, deployment, or measurable impact.
Najoomi: AI customer-experience collaboration under exploration
TechJuice characterized Najoomi as an AI-driven predictive-analytics startup and reported that it and Malaysia’s YB Inspire were exploring AI-powered customer-experience solutions and data-intelligence collaboration. The report quoted Stephan Bosman, identified as YB Inspire’s Co-Founder and Partner, Innovation and Investment: “We’re thrilled to collaborate with NIC Islamabad’s startups and contribute to Pakistan’s growing innovation scene.”

NIC Islamabad separately described Najoomi as an AI-powered, humanless omnichannel contact-center solution. The event coverage presents the YB Inspire work as exploratory; it does not establish a finalized partnership or its results.
EMR Chains: a blockchain medical-record showcase
TechJuice described EMR Chains as a health-tech startup showcasing a blockchain-powered medical-record system designed with security and interoperability in mind. That describes the system’s intended design, not independently measured security or interoperability performance.

SuperNova status and what it means
NIC Islamabad announced that EMRChains and Najoomi were shortlisted for GITEX’s SuperNova Pitching Competition. “Shortlisted” is the reported status: the available announcements do not establish that either startup became a finalist, won, or received an award.

The reports help distinguish the three startups by field and event activity, but they do not provide attributable figures for users, revenue, funding, deployments, or measured impact. The MoU, exploratory collaboration, product descriptions, and showcase should therefore be read as event-reported activity rather than proof of market adoption or technical performance. An NIC Islamabad spokesperson, quoted by TechJuice without an individual name, said the milestone demonstrated NIC’s aim to help Pakistani startups compete and collaborate globally.
