Gear.Club Unlimited 3 adds Japan as a setting alongside the French Mediterranean coast, with a story about building a racing club and joining local car culture. Nacon describes highway races through traffic in both countries, alongside conventional races and time attacks. The official listings name Xbox Series X|S and PC, and PlayStation 5; their displayed release dates conflict, so check the live store page for your region.
What Japan adds to Gear.Club Unlimited 3
Japan is a new setting for the series, following earlier entries set in France and Italy. In the official story description, the player arrives in Japan to create and grow a club, take on local rivals, engage with the country’s car culture, and expand the club’s influence. The Xbox listing says victories and choices shape the player’s journey.
Nacon described the contrast between the settings this way in its 2025 Gamescom press release: “This new installment features two contrasting environments: the sunny Mediterranean coast and the twisting, mountainous roads of Japan.”
How the racing is described
Highway races through traffic
The publisher and store descriptions advertise a highway mode in both France and Japan. Players race through traffic, anticipate other vehicles, change lanes, pass rivals closely, and manage speed and handling. The descriptions present this as a distinct style of racing rather than a replacement for the game’s other events.

Races, time attacks and customization
Alongside highway events, the listings mention conventional races and time attacks. They also promote more than 40 cars, mechanical and bodywork customization, paint and rim changes, and customizable garages. Xbox and PlayStation store descriptions list 50 tracks or courses across France and Japan. These are publisher and storefront specifications, not independently tested counts.

Why the release date depends on the page
The official pages do not agree on one release date. Their displayed dates are specific to the page and, for storefronts, its territory:
- Xbox US: the listing displays October 8, 2026.
- PlayStation Store US: the listing displays October 7, 2026 at 03:00 PM UTC. That displayed time is later than the page-check timestamp of October 7, 2026 at 03:41:23 UTC.
- Nacon: the product page displayed February 19, 2026, while its 2025 Gamescom release announcement said 2026. The Nacon page date conflicts with the later Xbox and PlayStation storefront dates and should not be treated as a definitive date for those editions.
These are observations of individual pages, not a reconciled global launch schedule. Confirm the live listing for your platform and territory before relying on a date.
