If you want another game in the survivors-style vein after Vampire Survivors, try 20 Minutes Till Dawn for compact survival runs or Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor for auto-firing combat built around mining. Warhammer Survivors is scheduled to launch on November 10, 2026, so these are alternatives to play while you wait—not games that require it.
When is Warhammer Survivors coming out?
Warhammer Community announced on October 6, 2026 that Warhammer Survivors launches November 10, 2026. A PC demo is available that day on Steam and Xbox. The announced platforms are PC (Steam and GOG), Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and Android. Read the announcement from Warhammer Community.
The game is a fast-paced roguelite survivors game set in both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. You choose a hero, fight swarms, level up, evolve weapons, and build strength over repeat runs. The publisher has announced more than 40 playable characters and more than 70 weapons; those are announced figures, not independently tested totals.
Games like Warhammer Survivors to try
These two officially listed games offer distinct reasons to try another survivors-style run. Check each official store page for current platform availability and regional details.
| Game | What the official listing confirms | Best fit if you want |
|---|---|---|
| 20 Minutes Till Dawn | Nintendo describes a survival roguelite with endless hordes and approachable 10–20 minute runs. | A short, defined session. |
| Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor | Steam lists it as single-player and tags it action roguelike, bullet heaven, and bullet hell. Its description says you run and mine while weapons fire automatically. | Auto-shooting combat with a mining theme. |
20 Minutes Till Dawn: survival in a short session
Choose 20 Minutes Till Dawn if you want the pressure of surviving waves without committing to a long session: Nintendo’s listing describes runs of 10–20 minutes. That makes session length its clearest distinction from the broader promise of repeat runs and evolving weapons in Warhammer Survivors. Check the Nintendo listing for 20 Minutes Till Dawn.
Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor: auto-fire and mining
Try Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor if you like combat where your weapons fire automatically and the run also involves moving and mining. Steam identifies it as single-player and uses the tags action roguelike, bullet heaven, and bullet hell. Its mining theme gives the run a different focus from fighting Warhammer’s announced Tyranid and Skaven swarms. Check Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor on Steam.
