When did Forza Horizon 6 release?
The standard release for Xbox Series X|S and PC was May 19, 2026. Playground Games’ launch announcement says Premium Edition early access began May 15, four days before the standard release. The cited dates apply to Xbox Series X|S and PC; they do not establish a PS5 launch date.
Does Forza Horizon 6 support cross-play?
Yes. Playground Games says cross-play is supported between Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5, and Steam. This lets players on those named platforms play together. The statement appears in the studio’s feature article, “10 Incredible New Features Coming to Forza Horizon 6,” published February 9, 2026. The PS5 platform’s inclusion in the cross-play statement does not change the separate announcement that its release is later in 2026.

Does progress transfer between platforms?
Yes. Playground Games says cross-save works across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5, and Steam, so progress can carry across the listed platforms. This cross-save statement is separate from Xbox Play Anywhere, which specifies a narrower save-profile and DLC-entitlement benefit.
For digital purchases covered by Xbox Play Anywhere, the Xbox Series X|S and Microsoft Store Windows PC versions share save profiles and DLC entitlements between those two platforms without requiring a second purchase. The Xbox Play Anywhere page describes that benefit. The cited information does not establish that DLC entitlements transfer to Steam, so do not assume that they do.

When is the Forza Horizon 6 PS5 version coming out?
The official Forza page says PS5 is coming later in 2026, but gives no specific day or month. An exact date is therefore not established by the cited announcement; check official Forza updates for any newer timing.

The May 2026 launch announcement said the standard game was included with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass starting May 19, 2026, subject to platform-specific membership terms. That is a launch-time statement, not confirmation of current catalog availability or membership terms; consult the relevant official store or Game Pass page for current details.
