How to read this week’s Famitsu figures
Famitsu describes the chart as weekly estimated sales of game software and hardware and notes that its figures are estimates based on information available at compilation time. The software estimates include packaged copies, download cards, and console-preinstalled versions, so they should not be read as audited final sales or as a full measure of digital purchases. A single weekly ranking also does not establish market share, consumer preference, or why a particular model or game sold more than another.
Famitsu published the top 10 for September 21–27 on October 1, 2026. Its report said positions 11 and below would appear separately on its game-sales ranking page from October 2 onward; Gematsu’s updated English-language report added ranks 11–30.
