Eastlink Stream was a TV discovery and viewing app launched in 2016 for eligible Eastlink TV customers. It brought package-eligible live and on-demand video into one interface, but Eastlink now says the app is no longer available. Its current TiVo Stream service and network Go apps are separate ways to access Eastlink TV content; Eastlink has not established them as direct continuations of the retired app.
What Eastlink Stream was designed to do
Eastlink introduced the app as a way to make finding and watching TV simpler: customers could browse eligible live and on-demand video in one place and search across the content available to them. Cisco said Eastlink launched the service on its Infinite Video Platform, whose capabilities included personalized experiences and support for multiple devices. That platform description does not establish that every capability was present in every version of Eastlink Stream.
Cisco attributed the launch rationale to Eastlink CEO Lee Bragg: “We asked our customers what they wanted in a TV streaming service, and what consistently came up was the need to get back to simple TV.”
Who could use it at launch
Access was tied to an Eastlink TV subscription, not simply to having an internet connection. A September 2016 launch report said eligible customers could watch content included with their TV package; customers with only entry-level basic TV were excluded at that time. These were historical launch conditions, not current subscription terms.

The app was presented as a unified way to access and discover eligible content—not as a bundle of outside streaming subscriptions. The launch coverage does not establish that services such as third-party streaming platforms were included.
What was in the launch catalog
MobileSyrup reported 59 live channels and on-demand services at launch in 2016. That is a reported launch-catalog figure, not a current channel count or a figure independently verified from an Eastlink source.

Is Eastlink Stream still available?
No. Eastlink’s legacy service page says Eastlink Stream is no longer available. The notice does not give a shutdown date, and the available information does not establish a migration notice or a direct successor. Do not assume that installing another Eastlink app or buying a streaming device will restore access to Eastlink Stream.

Eastlink currently documents TiVo Stream and network Go apps. They are distinct access routes with different requirements, and neither should be treated as a confirmed continuation of Eastlink Stream.

Which current option should you check?
- If you already have TiVo Stream TV service and a TiVo set-top box, check TiVo Stream’s supported devices, location rules, and subscription-based content limits.
- If you have an Eastlink TV package and want to watch through a broadcaster’s app, check whether your package includes access to that network’s Go app.
- If you are looking specifically for the old Eastlink Stream app, Eastlink’s notice says it is no longer available; the current options above are separate services.
