Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →To install Realtek Audio Console, first install the audio driver provided for your exact PC or motherboard model; the app may install automatically with it. If it does not appear, confirm the driver is installed, check Windows Update, and use the Microsoft Store listing for Realtek Audio Control if it is available for your system.
Realtek Audio Console is a settings app, not a driver or a universal installer. Avoid generic driver bundles and unofficial app mirrors; follow your device maker’s support instructions.
What does Realtek Audio Console do?
The app lets you adjust audio-device effects and settings. Available controls and the app’s appearance depend on the device and its OEM driver. For example, ASRock documents microphone noise suppression and microphone boost as controls in its guidance.
Before installing it
- Identify your exact PC, laptop, or motherboard model and Windows version.
- Use the audio driver listed on that model’s official manufacturer support page.
- Follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions; the app may be installed in the background with the driver.
- Do not assume that a driver or app package made for a different model will work on your device.
Install Realtek Audio Console on Windows 10 or 11
- Find your PC or motherboard model and Windows version. On Windows, you can press Windows key + R, enter msinfo32, and press Enter to view system manufacturer and model information.
- Open the official support or downloads page for that model and install its listed audio driver, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Search the Start menu for Realtek Audio Console. The app may download in the background after the driver installation.
- If it is absent, check Device Manager to confirm the Realtek audio driver is installed, then check Windows Update.
- If your device’s support guidance points to Microsoft Store, search for Realtek Audio Control and install it from the Store listing if it is available.
- Restart the PC if the driver installer or manufacturer’s instructions require it, then check for the app again.
Some OEM packages act as a handoff to the Microsoft Store rather than installing the app directly. Follow the instructions for your own model; an OEM package documented for a specific computer is not a universal installer.
