Dorian Godon finished sixth at the 107th Coppa Bernocchi – GP Banco BPM on 5 October 2026, in the same time as winner Noa Isidore. The race ended in a fast bunch sprint, with a late crash disrupting the finish.
How the Coppa Bernocchi unfolded
Netcompany INEOS described the race as fast and aggressive. Its account says an early break of four riders built a lead of more than four minutes. With 48 km remaining, teammate Jhonatan Narváez attacked on a climb while the gap was reported at 1:30. He joined a group of four, and one rider from the original break dropped back, leaving five ahead.
According to the team, Bob Jungels, Filippo Ganna and Ben Swift drove the chase, and the peloton caught the move with 7 km remaining. The team’s report does not give a neutral account of every group’s position during the chase.
Godon’s sprint and the late crash
Netcompany INEOS says Ganna led with 1 km to go, before Swift moved forward with Godon on his wheel. A crash in the late stages involved Swift, who quickly got back on his bike. The team says Godon stayed clear and sprinted to sixth; the available account does not establish that the crash changed his placing.

Cyclingnews lists the leading finishers in 3:53:29, with Godon also in the same time as the winner.

Race date and classification
The 107th Coppa Bernocchi – GP Banco BPM took place on 5 October 2026 in the Legnano area. Lega Ciclismo Professionistico lists the event as a UCI 1.Pro race organized by U.S. Legnanese. The Italian Cycling Federation also classifies it as UCI ProSeries 1.Pro and lists the distance as 178.14 km.
