There is no explicit official guarantee that Vampire Crawlers works offline on every platform. Steam identifies it as a single-player game and lists Steam Cloud, but neither label confirms whether it launches or saves while disconnected. If offline access matters for a trip or an unreliable connection, install the game and test it offline on your own device before you go.
What the official information confirms
poncle’s Vampire Crawlers FAQ gives April 21, 2026 as the release date and lists Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation as launch platforms. It says mobile versions were planned for later in 2026, but does not state whether any version requires an internet connection.
The FAQ also says cross-save between platforms was not supported at launch. Steam demo progress could carry over to the full Steam game. Those details describe moving progress between versions, not whether the game can be started or played offline.
What Steam’s labels do—and do not—mean
The Steam listing describes Vampire Crawlers as single-player and Steam Cloud enabled; Steam’s technical-issue page also provides platform feature metadata. “Single-player” describes the play mode. “Steam Cloud” indicates cloud-save support. Neither label is an offline-launch guarantee or a statement about how saves behave without a connection.

Cloud synchronization and local play are separate questions: a cloud feature can sync saves when a connection is available, but the feature label alone does not say whether a game will launch or continue using local data while disconnected.
What the PlayStation page says
Sony’s Vampire Crawlers PS5 page mentions the PS5 account’s console-sharing and offline-play settings. That language concerns PlayStation access and account settings; it is not a publisher-wide offline guarantee, and it does not establish how the Steam, Switch, Xbox, or planned mobile versions behave.
How to check before you travel
- While connected, install and launch the game. Make sure your platform account can access the installed copy and that any initial setup is complete.
- Disconnect the device from the internet. Turn off Wi-Fi or otherwise take the device offline using its normal settings.
- Try launching the game and loading your progress. Check both starting the game and continuing a save; a successful launch alone does not confirm every save or sync behavior.
- Reconnect afterward. If you played offline, reconnect and allow any available save synchronization to complete before switching devices.
This is a prudent way to check your own setup, not a documented Vampire Crawlers requirement or a guarantee that offline behavior will remain unchanged.

The official information cited here does not say that Wi-Fi is required, but it also does not confirm reliable offline play for any platform. Treat offline access as unconfirmed until you have tested your installed copy under the conditions in which you plan to play.
