Whether you can get Koodo’s $65/month, 120GB Canada–U.S. 5G plan depends on the offers currently shown in your account. MobileSyrup reported seeing it in one Koodo customer’s account on July 10, 2024, but current public information does not confirm that the plan is still available. Sign in to Koodo and check Self Serve for your own options before deciding.
What was included in the reported $65 Koodo plan?
On July 10, 2024, MobileSyrup reported that an author saw a $65-per-month, 120GB 5G plan among the upgrade choices in a Koodo account. The report described the plan as including Canada–U.S. data, talk and text. It was an observation from one account, not a published rate card or proof that every customer could select it. Read MobileSyrup’s report.
The same account reportedly displayed these other 5G offers at the time:
| Monthly price reported | Included data reported | What the evidence establishes |

How to check whether the plan is available to you now
Koodo’s current BYOD information says existing customers may be eligible for exclusive offers when logged in. Its Pick Your Perk information says customers can change plans in Self Serve. Those pages do not confirm that this particular $65 offer is currently listed.
- Sign in to your Koodo account and open Self Serve.
- View the plans or offers available to your account, then check whether the $65/120GB Canada–U.S. plan appears.
- Open the offer details and review its price, data terms, included destinations, and any plan-change conditions before accepting.
If it is not shown, the historical report is not evidence that Koodo can add it to your account on request. Eligibility and current choices are account-specific; the public information does not establish which customers or regions qualify.

What to compare before changing plans
Compare the terms shown in your account rather than relying on the 2024 figures. Check each of these details in the offer itself:
- Monthly cost: Confirm the recurring plan price and whether taxes, credits, or automatic-payment discounts affect what you will pay.
- Data: Check the included high-speed data and what happens after you use it.
- Cross-border service: Confirm whether U.S. data, talk, and text are included, which destinations are covered, and what limits or conditions apply.
- Perk and account terms: Review any included perk and whether changing plans affects discounts or credits on your account. The public information does not establish how every customer’s credits are treated.
- 5G access: Check whether your device and location can use the plan’s speed tier; the 5G label alone does not guarantee network access or a particular speed.
What “5G” means for speed and coverage
Koodo says 5G access requires a compatible device, an eligible 5G speed plan, and 5G coverage. Its help information lists speeds of up to 1 Gbps as a potential maximum for 5G speed plans, not a guaranteed result. Actual speeds vary with location, signal, network conditions, device, and plan. See Koodo’s 5G help information and explanation of data speeds.

TELUS announced on May 29, 2026, that a 5G speed upgrade for Koodo Pick Your Perk customers with compatible devices was expected to roll out over six months. That announcement concerns speeds; it does not establish that the old $65/120GB offer was renewed or remains selectable. Read TELUS’s announcement.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How the reported U.S. inclusion differs from Easy Roam
The 2024 report described Canada–U.S. use as included in the specific account offer it observed. That is different from Koodo’s standard U.S. Easy Roam context, which its network page lists at up to $14 per day. Do not assume that daily rate applies to a plan with included cross-border service—or that the historical plan’s terms apply to a different offer. Check the current terms attached to your own plan.
