The team’s scheduled best-of-three against Shopify Rebellion was the key match in the 2026 Demacia Cup Global Invitational’s 0–2 group, where only the round-robin winner could advance.
Why the Shopify Rebellion match mattered
FlyQuest entered the 0–2 group after losing 2–0 to NAVI on October 5. The Riot Games LoL Esports schedule listed FlyQuest versus Shopify Rebellion as a best-of-three on October 7, making it the next pivotal fixture in the group.

The tournament standings page still displayed FlyQuest at 0–2 in matches and 0–3 in games when accessed. That listing may have been stale relative to October 7 fixtures. A community match discussion reported that FlyQuest had beaten GAM Esports 2–0 earlier that day and called Shopify the next survival-deciding opponent, but the result was not corroborated by a completed official match record in the pages available at the time.
How the Demacia Cup 0–2 group works
The 2026 Demacia Cup Global Invitational is scheduled for October 3–17, 2026. Its official event page says teams with two wins advance to the knockout stage. Teams in the 0–2 group play a round robin rather than a single direct-elimination match; under the published rule, a team with two losses is eliminated unless it finishes first in that round robin. Matches from Swiss Round 2 onward are best-of-three.

That format makes the group placing decisive: a win in one match is not, by itself, proof that a team advanced. The completed group standings are needed to establish who finished first.
What is confirmed about FlyQuest
- FlyQuest lost its October 5 best-of-three against NAVI, 0–2.
- NAVI’s match page lists FlyQuest’s tournament roster as GaKGoS, Gryffinn, Quad, Massu, and Cryogen.
- The official schedule listed FlyQuest–Shopify Rebellion for October 7 as a Demacia Cup Swiss best-of-three.
- The official event page listed a $223,500 prize pool, attributed to Natus Vincere (NAVI), 2026.
As of the October 7 records consulted, no completed official result or final 0–2-group standings established whether FlyQuest survived. The available evidence therefore supports describing the Shopify fixture as a survival match, not declaring an outcome.
