Diablo IV does not describe a single feature called “+1 Loot” that lets you forge Hellfire World Boss drops. The relevant systems are separate: the Urn of Calamity adds gear rewards from World Bosses, Essence of Hellfire rewards Lair Boss Keys for surviving World Boss encounters, and the Heavenly Forge is used to Sanctify eligible items. The official season description does not promise exactly one extra item or say that World Boss gear or Hellfire keys are forged.

These descriptions do not link the Urn of Calamity’s bonus gear or Essence of Hellfire’s keys to the Heavenly Forge. “+1 Loot” should therefore be treated as ambiguous wording, not as a confirmed mechanic; the secondary explanation of the phrase is iTechGuides’ October 3, 2026 guide.

How to find a World Boss
Blizzard describes Azmodan as a permanent World Boss across Seasonal and Eternal realms, appearing in rotation alongside other World Bosses. The announcement does not give a live spawn timetable. Check the current in-game event and reward information for the schedule that applies to your character, realm, and patch rather than relying on a fixed time from an older guide.

For additional World Boss gear
The Urn of Calamity is the relevant Season Blessing: Blizzard says it earns “additional gear rewards from World Bosses.” That wording does not establish a guaranteed “+1 item” count.

For Lair Boss Keys
Essence of Hellfire is the relevant system. Its described reward is keys for surviving World Boss encounters, with the stated Purified and rank effects. It is not described as a way to forge equipment.
For item Sanctification
The Heavenly Forge is a separate item-improvement path. The announcement describes travel by Heavenly Sigil and Sanctification of Ancestral-quality items; it does not say that the Forge processes the Urn’s bonus gear or Hellfire keys.

Season and patch availability
Blizzard’s article documents the features as described for Season of Divine Intervention; it does not establish that every mechanic remains available in the live client on every later patch. Confirm the current event and reward screens in game. Blizzard’s patch notes covering versions 1.3–1.5 are historical context, not confirmation of current 2026 reward rules.
