The $79.97 offer for 10TB of lifetime Degoo cloud storage was a limited-time promotion in June 2023—not a verified current deal. The listing set a deadline of June 18, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. Degoo’s current plan page instead lists its Ultimate plan at 5,000 GB for $9.99 per month.
What was the $79.97 Degoo offer?
A Cult of Mac Deals listing published June 13, 2023 advertised 10TB of lifetime Degoo cloud storage for $79.97, compared with a stated comparison price of $1,080. The promotion was scheduled to end June 18, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. That listing documents a past sale; it does not establish that the price or lifetime plan is available now.
The offer was for cloud storage and backup of photos and files, not a physical hard drive. The listing described use across Apple devices, but it does not establish that the historic lifetime offer included every feature or limit Degoo describes for its service today.
What does Degoo offer now?
Degoo’s current plan listing shows Free, Basic, Pro and Ultimate options. It lists Ultimate at 5,000 GB for $9.99 per month. That is a current listed monthly plan, not the old 10TB lifetime offer; check the live checkout and applicable terms for current availability and details.

How does Degoo describe its backup features?
Degoo’s current feature page says the service can automatically upload photo folders and is available on Android, iOS and the web. These are descriptions of the current service and should not be assumed to describe the 2023 lifetime promotion’s exact inclusions.
What should you know before relying on cloud backup?
Availability is not guaranteed
Degoo’s Terms of Service identify Degoo Backup AB as the contracting provider and state: “Degoo does not warrant that the use of the Services, the Platform and the Software will be secure, uninterrupted, safe, always available, error-free or will meet the requirements of the User.”

Inactive accounts and content may be deleted
The terms say an account and its uploaded content may be deleted after the inactivity period displayed on the platform. They also state: “Before a User Account and Content is deleted, however, Degoo will send a notification to the User.” Check the applicable plan terms and keep an independent copy of irreplaceable files rather than relying on one cloud account alone.

A separate external hard drive can provide a local copy alongside cloud storage. It is not included with the Degoo plan, and the historical listing does not endorse a particular device. Keeping copies in separate places reduces dependence on any single service or device.
