There is no universal best settings preset for PC gacha RPGs: controller support, graphics options, and accessibility features vary by game and version. Start by checking the official support information for your exact game, PC client, and controller model; then adjust the settings that address your needs and verify the result in play.
Check whether your controller is supported
Before changing settings or buying a controller, identify the exact game and controller model, then compare them with that game’s current official support list. Compatibility in one gacha RPG does not guarantee compatibility in another. HoYoverse’s support article, updated October 8, 2025, says controller support for the game covered there is PC-only and lists DualSense, DualSense Edge, DualShock 4, Xbox, and Xbox Elite wireless controllers. It cautions that unlisted controllers may not function correctly. Check HoYoverse’s controller and platform support article.
Wuthering Waves publishes a separate list: Xbox Series and Xbox Elite Series controllers, DualSense, DualSense Edge, and wired DualShock 4. For other PC controllers that support multiple input modes, Kuro recommends XInput mode. See the Wuthering Waves Version 3.0 Update Maintenance Notice. These are game-specific examples, not a shared compatibility standard.
Set up input switching and button prompts
When a game accepts both a controller and keyboard and mouse, check its input options for how to switch between them. Prompts may follow the active input device, while bindings for the other device can remain separate. Do not assume a remap or prompt choice carries over between devices.

Zenless Zone Zero
In Zenless Zone Zero, the documented route for input switching is Options > Input > UI Layout when both controller and keyboard/mouse are connected. Quick switching is available on some screens, including Login, City, and combat. The details appear in the Zenless Zone Zero Official Release FAQ.
Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact’s Version 1.1 update notice documented customizable keyboard and controller assignments. Treat that as evidence that the game has offered remapping, not as a complete inventory of its current controls or menus: later versions may change the available options. The Version 1.1 Update Notice is an older, version-specific reference.

Choose graphics settings by what you want to improve
Graphics menus differ across games and can change with updates, so first look at the options your current version actually exposes. Make one change at a time and compare in the same area or activity. That makes it easier to tell whether the change improved performance, clarity, or appearance without guessing at unsupported universal settings.
If you want smoother performance
Look for optional effects that add visual detail and test whether reducing or disabling them helps on your system. The Genshin Impact Version 1.1 notice, for example, documented volumetric fog, reflections, bloom, crowd density, and co-op teammate effects. Those are examples from that notice, not a current or complete settings list. Use your own game’s current graphics menu rather than expecting those exact controls to be present.

If you want a clearer image or stronger visual effects
Check the game’s display and graphics menus for the relevant options, then confirm the trade-off on your own hardware. Some enhanced features may be limited to eligible hardware. Zenless Zone Zero’s PC Visual Experience Upgrade FAQ, updated July 29, 2026, documents DX12 eligibility for its upgraded visual experience. That requirement is specific to the feature described in that FAQ; it does not establish that every player needs a graphics-card upgrade for ordinary play. Check accessibility separately from graphics quality
Accessibility needs are individual, and there is no established cross-game feature list that can reliably describe every PC gacha RPG. Open the current game’s accessibility and gameplay menus and look for the specific adjustment you need, such as a control or presentation option. Confirm that the setting exists in your game and version before relying on it; do not infer availability from another title’s menus.

Recheck settings after updates
Patch notes and help pages can supersede older instructions, and options may move or change between versions. If a controller stops working, a menu path no longer matches, or a graphics option is missing, check the game’s latest official support page and update notes for your platform before troubleshooting based on an older guide.
