PowerPyx’s Central Zone guide lists nine collectible locations across seven types. This route guide gives the landmarks, access requirements, and puzzle solutions for each one, so you can collect them during exploration or return later for cleanup.

Collectibles in Central, by location
Freeze Frame Camera: Watchtower
From the Watchtower fast-travel door, descend all the way and enter the open storage room on the side. Climb the scaffolding and look for an opening in the ceiling just before the ledge where you approach the camera. Climb through, then drop down behind it.

FBC Taskboard: Field Office
Look for an unmarked NPC just outside the Field Office entrance, near the “O” in the map label “Office.” The person calls out when you approach and has a red interaction prompt. Speak with them to reveal the Central board; this board spawns the other boards. If the NPC is missing or cannot be interacted with, progress the story and return.
Freeze Frame Camera: Rooftop
This route requires Reach, earned during “Jesse Sightings: The Subway Fault.” Enter through the open door and let the camera spot you. Go downstairs, open the door on the bottom floor, and step outside until you hear the camera reset. Return through that door and go upstairs to get behind the camera.

Dylan’s Sketchbook: “Live on Stage”
In southwest Central, find the apartment building at street level behind a black FBC vehicle. Go up the first staircase and enter the first door on the left. Inspect the instruments and arrange them as follows:
- Blue guitar on the left.
- Keyboard in the middle.
- Drum in the right corner.
- Brown guitar on the right side.
- Microphone on its stand.
Secret Hideout: “Wear’Em & Wash’Em” laundromat
If the laundromat entrance is blocked by a red barrier, follow the red lines overhead and destroy the objects they connect to. Inside, read the notes on the wall, then set the six columns of machines from left to right:

Dog: eastern Central rooftop
Find the dog on a rooftop in eastern Central. Its toy is at the end of the alley below, in the direction the dog is facing.
Dylan’s Sketchbook: “The Cat Picnic”
In eastern Central, inspect the Cat Picnic tarp in a yard beside a blue house. Arrange the items with the basket on the left, the black cat at the back right, and the ginger cat at the back middle.

Testing Facility: pit southeast of the Patterned Factory
Reach the pipe in the open pit southeast of the Patterned Factory. The challenge has four Charge cores and two charges. Activate the switch to start a 60-second timer, then keep moving the charges between blinking blue and red spots so the cores do not overload. PowerPyx advises moving a charge after roughly 15 seconds on a spot, but notes that the timing seems variable; treat that as a guide rather than a guaranteed sequence. When all stations turn green, use the switch near the computer icon and enter the opened door to find a Power Upgrade crate.
Taxi: main road north of the deserted road checkpoint
Find the taxi on the main road north of the deserted road checkpoint. Interact first with the taxi whose roof light is lit. On the next cycle, choose the taxi with its headlight, taillight, and roof light lit. Repeat that roof-light-only, then three-light sequence to leave the Threshold.

When to collect Central’s items
PowerPyx says the 67 game-wide collectible locations can still be found in post-story free roam, so Central’s list can be tackled later if an item is inaccessible on your first visit. The guide recommends returning after gaining traversal abilities: Shift from “Jesse Sightings: The Incursion Fault,” Reach from “Jesse Sightings: The Subway Fault,” Ground Slam from the West Incursion Zone Resonant, and Ignite/Inferno from the Central Zone Resonant.
Central has four listed fast-travel doors: Central Frontline, Field Office, Patterned Factory (on the route to the Central Zone Resonant), and Watchtower. Fast travel requires interacting with a Fast Travel Door; it is not available from anywhere. Clearing the area one region at a time can reduce backtracking.
