Google’s February 25, 2026 update lets Circle to Search identify and explore several objects in one image at the same time. On the Pixel 10 and Samsung Galaxy S26 families, its new fashion experience can break down an outfit into clothing, shoes, and accessories, then find similar items. Google says the upgrade is coming to more Android devices, but has not named them or given a rollout date.
What the Circle to Search upgrade does
Previously, Circle to Search was commonly used to look up an individual item on screen—for example, asking “What are those shoes?” The February 2026 update expands the interaction: select multiple objects in a single image, and Google says the feature can search them together and assemble results for each.
For an outfit, that means identifying separate pieces such as clothing, shoes, and accessories and surfacing similar products. Google describes these as similar items, not guaranteed matches to the exact products shown. Google says shopping searches are among Circle to Search’s top uses, making outfit discovery a direct shopping and inspiration use case.
It can also investigate non-shopping images
The update is not limited to fashion. Google’s example is selecting several fish in an image and asking, “What are all these fish, and how do they coexist?” Circle to Search can identify the species, describe their relationship, and provide links for further reading. Other examples Google gives for Circle to Search include asking “Where is this hiking trail?”

How to search an outfit with Circle to Search
Google’s April 23, 2026 instructions describe these steps on Pixel 10 and Galaxy S26 devices:
- Open the image or screen showing the outfit.
- Long-press the home button or navigation bar to open Circle to Search.
- Tap, scribble, or circle the outfit or items you want to explore.
- Choose Find the look to see similar options.
The exact results depend on the image and available visual matches; a similar listing should not be treated as proof that it is the same item worn in the image.

Which phones support the new experience?
Google names the Pixel 10 and Samsung Galaxy S26 device families as the initial devices for outfit deconstruction and virtual try-on through Circle to Search. Google says the experience is coming to more Android devices soon, but its announcement does not identify additional models or provide a timetable. Check current device-specific availability rather than assuming every Android phone has the upgrade.
For a phone decision, confirm that the exact model supports the feature and that its similar-item results are useful to you. This optional software feature alone does not establish a reason to replace a phone.

When is virtual try-on available?
Google says the virtual dressing room can be opened from Circle to Search in countries where shoppers can already try on apparel from Google product listings. The February 2026 announcement does not name those countries. Check Google’s current availability for your location before relying on virtual try-on; support for outfit search does not by itself establish that try-on is available in every market.
How Google says multi-object search works
Google attributes the new experience to Gemini 3’s agentic planning, reasoning, and tool capabilities. In Google’s explanation, the system selects important regions of an image, runs multiple searches, and cross-references the results to compile information about the selected objects. That is Google’s account of the feature’s operation, not an independently measured claim about its speed or accuracy.

Google also said in its February 25 announcement that people had been using Circle to Search for “billions of queries per month” since launch. The company did not provide a more exact figure in that announcement.
