What is Casio Moflin?
Moflin is a palm-sized robot companion sold in gold (PE-M10GD) and silver (PE-M10SR). Casio says it learns from interactions, can recognize a familiar voice, and develops a distinctive personality. It has no ordinary screen: it communicates through movement and sounds, while the MofLife app shows its current emotional state and records interactions. That software presents simulated states; it does not mean Moflin understands a person as another person would.

Casio describes four million possible emotional expressions. That figure refers to the range of possible configurations, not a count of genuine emotions. Casio’s Moflin FAQ states: “Moflin does not possess actual emotions like humans do. How does Moflin interact?
Moflin responds to sound and touch, produces vocal sounds, and moves its head on two axes. It is not a walking or roaming robot. Casio lists a microphone, light sensor, touch sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope among its sensors. These inputs let the device vary its responses; they are not evidence of human-like awareness.

TechRadar reported a direct Casio price of $429 in the US and £369 in the UK in 2026; those are dated reported prices, not a guarantee of current pricing.
Casio’s US FAQ names its official e-commerce site and Amazon, while the individual US product pages describe the models as exclusive to Casio’s official e-commerce site. Casio’s UK page names its official store and Harrods. Because the channel information varies by page and region, check the current listing, seller, stock, and price before ordering. Casio reported that more than 10,000 units had sold about seven months after launch. This is Casio’s own reported figure, not an independently audited global sales total. Casio lists Moflin at 130 × 90 × 180 mm and approximately 260 g, with a 3.7 V, 1,200 mAh lithium-ion battery. The manufacturer estimates up to about five hours of use and approximately three hours and 30 minutes to recharge under typical conditions at 25°C. Actual runtime can vary with use.
