Yes—but the available Kingdom Hearts games and how they run differ by platform. As of October 5, 2026, the existing collections are available on PC and consoles, while SQUARE ENIX has announced a native (non-cloud) KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Microsoft Store on Windows for October 8, 2026. Earlier Switch collections were cloud versions. Save migration between platforms is not generally supported; the announced exception is from a Switch cloud-version save to Switch 2.
Which platforms can you play Kingdom Hearts on?
There is no single platform list that applies to every release. The older collections, the newly announced bundle, and Switch versions have different availability. Check your local storefront for current regional listings.

SQUARE ENIX describes KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] as “a streamlined, all-in-one bundle” containing HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind. The publisher says these are available natively, rather than through cloud streaming, on the newly announced platforms. Its announcement dated June 10, 2026 schedules the collection for October 8, 2026 on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Microsoft Store on Windows. What is included in Collection [I~III]?
The bundle groups three releases, rather than presenting every component as a separate new game:

Can you transfer a Kingdom Hearts save between platforms?
For a regular full-game save, the stated cross-platform exception is narrow: SQUARE ENIX says owners of a Nintendo Switch cloud version can transfer save data to Nintendo Switch 2. The same June 10, 2026 announcement says save transfers are not supported for other platforms. That is not general cross-save or a way to move progress freely between PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo systems.

Choose the exact source and destination before buying or switching devices. If your save is on an earlier Switch cloud version and you plan to move to Switch 2, confirm the relevant title and transfer instructions in the publisher’s local support or store information.

Demo carryover is a separate issue from transferring a regular save between platforms. SQUARE ENIX’s support article says the full game should be installed on the same account or console used for the demo. It describes PS4 demo progress moving to PS5 and Switch demo progress moving to Switch 2; for Steam, demo progress transfers automatically. How to choose the right version
- Check your device and storefront. For PC, distinguish Steam and Epic releases from the announced Microsoft Store on Windows bundle. On console, check the PlayStation or Xbox edition for your generation and your region’s listing.
- Check whether a Switch version is cloud-based or native. Existing Switch collections were cloud versions. The announced native releases are HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX on the original Switch and Collection [I~III] on Switch 2.
- Check the release timing. As of October 5, 2026, the announced October 8 launch of Collection [I~III] was still upcoming. Store pages can show regional or differing dates.
- Check your save’s source and destination. The publisher identifies Switch cloud version to Switch 2 as the supported general save-transfer path; do not assume a save moves between other platforms.
- Compare the bundle contents with what you own. The collection includes three groupings, and individual component collections are also sold digitally. Review your local listing to avoid buying content you already have.
