The store and steps depend on the TV’s operating system, model, and region, so there is no single menu path for every Hisense TV. First check which system your TV uses, then follow the matching route below.
Find out which operating system your Hisense TV uses
Hisense sells TVs with VIDAA, Google TV, Android TV, Fire TV, Roku TV, XClass, and Xumo. The operating system determines which app store is available and what its menus are called. Hisense’s smart-platform overview describes the different platform families.
Check the home screen or Settings for the platform name. If it is not clear, look up the TV’s model on Hisense’s official support site and consult its model-specific manual. Avoid following instructions for a different Hisense platform: for example, the VIDAA app-store route does not establish the menu path for Roku TV or Fire TV.
Install an app on a Hisense TV
VIDAA TVs
- Connect the TV to the internet.
- Open the app store from the TV’s apps area.
- Select the app you want, then choose Install.
- Open the apps area to find or manage installed apps.
These steps follow Hisense’s VIDAA U6 manual. Hisense’s VIDAA U4.2 manual is another platform-specific reference; menu details can differ by software version.

Google TV and other platforms
Use the app store provided by the TV’s operating system. For the Hisense 65A65K, a Google TV model, Hisense names Google Play Store as the app store in its product specifications. That example does not establish the store or exact steps for every Hisense model. For Android TV, Fire TV, Roku TV, XClass, or Xumo, consult the matching TV manual and follow its platform’s app-store instructions.
Why an app may not appear
An app missing from the store does not necessarily mean app installation is unavailable on the TV. The available catalog can vary by operating system, model, and region, and Hisense’s official materials do not establish one current catalog shared by every TV. Check the store on your own television and the official support information for its exact model before assuming an app is supported.

Does downloading an app cost money?
Installing an app may be free, but using its service can still require a subscription, a purchase, or another payment. Check the app’s own terms and pricing; the TV’s Install option does not mean its content is free.
