Yes during character creation. NCSOFT says AION 2 lets players adjust body type as part of character customization. For an existing character, a guide published October 1, 2026, reports that you can reopen customization, but NCSOFT’s official sources cited here do not confirm that procedure or its reported cost. Check the current in-game confirmation screen before spending currency or using a voucher.
What you can customize when creating a character
NCSOFT’s August 2025 recap says players can personalize face, hair, makeup, styling, and body type, with those choices reflected in the game world. In a November 16, 2025 announcement, NCSOFT described more than 200 customization options and named body shape, skin tone, eye color, and muscle definition as examples. It also mentioned pre-designed appearance presets. The announcement was tied to a pre-character customization event in Korea and Taiwan ahead of the November 19 launch there, so it confirms the feature was described but does not establish the exact interface in every current regional client.
These announcements confirm that body shape is a character-creation option; they do not provide a complete list of sliders or explain how each control works.
Can you change body type after character creation?
A Sportskeeda guide published October 1, 2026, reports that existing characters can reopen the customization menu through Settings > Customization and edit their appearance, including body type. That is secondary-source reporting: NCSOFT’s official sources cited here confirm customization features, but do not verify this post-creation menu path for the current global client.

If you do not see the option, or the menu differs, consult the current client and notices for your region rather than assuming the guide applies to your version.
Does changing an existing character cost Quna or a voucher?
The same Sportskeeda guide reports a 600 Quna charge by default or the use of an Appearance Change Voucher. The official sources cited here do not confirm that amount, voucher terms, or whether either option is available in every region or version. Treat the cost as unverified until you see it in your own client.

- Check whether it will charge Quna or consume a voucher, and review any displayed conditions.
- If the displayed terms differ from the guide, rely on the current in-game prompt and regional notices.
Appearance rules still apply
NCSOFT’s global operation policy says users are generally free to customize their characters’ face, hair, style, and body type. It also identifies prohibited appearance categories and notes that violations may lead to enforcement. Customization is therefore not unlimited: follow the official AION 2 Operation Policy.
