Yes. Samsung Galaxy Buds can connect to an iPhone over Bluetooth for wireless audio. However, Bluetooth connection does not guarantee access to Samsung’s iOS app or every Buds setting: app compatibility depends on the exact model.
What works when you connect Galaxy Buds to an iPhone?
Bluetooth pairing lets you use Galaxy Buds for basic wireless audio. Samsung also identifies older Gear IconX earbuds as usable with iOS devices for music and calls. See Samsung’s overview of listening with Samsung earbuds and its Gear IconX connection instructions.
The key distinction is between connecting the earbuds and managing them through Samsung’s companion app. The app is available for some Buds models, not the whole lineup; app-dependent controls and settings can therefore differ from one model to another.
Which Samsung earbuds support the iPhone app?
Samsung’s U.S. compatibility page lists Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Buds+ as compatible with the Galaxy Buds iOS app. It lists Galaxy Buds4, Buds4 Pro, Buds3, Buds3 Pro, Buds2, Buds Pro, and Galaxy Buds as Bluetooth-only. Check Samsung’s current iOS compatibility list for the exact model, since support details and product lineups can change.

Samsung’s Japan support page explains that features relying on the app—including software updates, equalizer, and environment settings—may be unavailable for other Buds models when used with iOS. Availability varies by model; consult the Samsung iOS feature guidance for the earbuds you own.
Pair Galaxy Buds with an iPhone

Place the earbuds in their charging case and open it. Depending on the model, you may need to press a button on the case to put the earbuds in pairing mode.

On the iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on.

When the Galaxy Buds appear under Other Devices, tap their name to connect. Samsung notes that pairing steps vary by model; if the earbuds do not appear, use the instructions for that specific generation. See Samsung’s pairing instructions.

Check iPhone requirements before relying on app features
Samsung’s U.S. compatibility page states that iPhone 5 or later running iOS 9 or later can connect to the listed Buds models over Bluetooth. For the iOS app, Samsung specifies iPhone 7 or later and iOS 10 or later for Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Buds+. Those are the requirements published on that page; do not assume they apply to every future model or app release.
If you are choosing earbuds for iPhone use, verify four things for the exact Buds generation: Bluetooth audio support, iOS app compatibility, which settings and controls remain available, and the stated iPhone/iOS requirements. A model that pairs successfully may still lack the app features you want.
