Check whether BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN is available yet
At the time of the checked listings, Steam said the game was not yet available and did not give a release date. The Epic Games Store listed it as coming soon for Windows, also without a date. Store availability can change, so check the relevant listing before troubleshooting a copy you believe you own.
The game is described as a first-person psychological horror story in which Kazuaki encounters Miki-chan, a virtual assistant, and uses the Rewriter to alter the environment or reality. Those descriptions explain the game, but do not provide technical fixes or establish any known PC issues.
Compare your PC with the storefront requirements
Steam and Epic display different specifications. These are storefront-published requirements, not performance benchmarks; neither listing guarantees a particular frame rate, resolution, or graphics preset. Check the live store page, especially if you are deciding whether your PC meets the requirements.

The Epic entries are shown as surfaced on the Epic Games Store; its CPU and memory fields are not clear enough to quote as a complete processor-and-RAM table. Do not combine the Steam and Epic figures into one set of requirements.
If the game will not launch or keeps crashing
No title-specific crash cause, error-code guidance, launch option, or confirmed fix is established in the available listings. If you have access to a playable build, start with low-risk checks and preserve the details needed for support.

- Confirm the build and source. Check that the game is currently available in your storefront and that you are launching the installed copy from that storefront.
- Compare your PC to that storefront’s requirements. Use the listing for your copy rather than mixing specifications between stores.
- Record the failure. Note the exact error text, when the crash happens, your Windows version, processor, graphics card, memory, and whether the game closes, freezes, or fails before opening.
- Use only documented repair options. If your storefront offers a built-in option to check or repair installed game files, use its current help instructions. No MIKI-CHAN-specific file-verification procedure is documented here.
- Check official support information. Look for developer or storefront support guidance once it is published, and include the information you recorded when reporting the issue.
Avoid deleting game or save files, disabling security protections, or changing system settings on the assumption that these are known fixes; no source establishes them as remedies for this title.
If BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN has low FPS
The minimum and recommended specifications do not report measured frame rates or specify the resolution, preset, or target FPS behind those tiers. They therefore cannot tell you what performance your PC should achieve. If a released build runs slowly, record your hardware, resolution, graphics settings, and where performance drops, then compare your configuration with the correct storefront listing and look for official game-specific guidance. Do not treat an unverified setting change or hardware purchase as a confirmed fix.

If your controller is not working
SteamDB categorizes the game as “Gamepad Preferred” and “Partial Controller Support,” but that third-party metadata does not identify tested models, guarantee compatibility, or provide repair instructions. See the SteamDB listing for that limited signal.
- Check for in-game input settings. If the build exposes controller or input options, confirm that controller input is enabled and that the expected device is selected. The available information does not establish a particular menu path.
- Compare with a controller you already know works with PC games. A known XInput-compatible gamepad can help determine whether the issue is specific to one device, but this is a general diagnostic comparison, not a tested MIKI-CHAN fix.
- Report the device and result. Include the controller type, how it connects, whether the game detects it, and whether buttons or sticks are mapped incorrectly when contacting official support.
No particular Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch model is confirmed as supported. Buying a different controller is, at most, a conditional input-recognition test; it will not address crashes or low frame rates, and compatibility could change before release.

What to include in a support request
When official support guidance becomes available, a concise report is more useful than saying only that the game is broken. Include the storefront and build, the exact symptom and error text, your PC specifications, and the steps that reproduce the problem. For controller reports, add the device and connection method. This helps distinguish a startup failure, performance issue, or input-recognition problem without assuming a cause.
