Blancco reported that the event had raised $150,000 to date as of its September 24 announcement; that figure includes corporate donations and commitments received after the broadcast, not just auction bids.
What Blancco contributed
Blancco supplied licenses for device diagnostics and certified data erasure, according to the company’s September 24 announcement. Quick Ship Brands founder and CEO Jordan Insley said the software helped verify and sanitize items before they crossed the screen for buyers.
The donation supported Quick Ship’s preparation of smartphones, laptops, and desktop computers for resale. The announcements do not identify specific device models.
How the auction proceeds and fundraising total differ
Quick Ship Brands organized and hosted the September 16 event on eBay Live. In its auction announcement, the company said 100% of the auction’s hammer proceeds would benefit Jonathan’s Landing Foundation. “Hammer proceeds” means the winning bids for auctioned items.

Blancco later reported that $150,000 had been raised “to date,” counting corporate donations and commitments that came in after the broadcast. That is a broader figure than the auction’s hammer proceeds, and Blancco did not describe it as a final, audited total. The announcements do not provide a breakdown by source, individual winning bids, or a final total.
What happened to devices before resale
Quick Ship described its preparation process as functional testing and authentication, data erasure to NIST SP 800-88 with Blancco-certified reports tied to device serial numbers, condition grading, and valuation against secondary-market data. These are company descriptions of its process; the announcements do not independently verify erasure results for individual devices.
