Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsBIWIN’s CL100 Mini SSD is a 15.00 × 17.00 × 1.40 mm storage module designed for devices with a dedicated Mini SSD slot. BIWIN lists capacities of 512 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB, with maximum sequential speeds of 3,700 MB/s read and 3,400 MB/s write over PCIe 4.0 x2 and NVMe 1.4. Those figures are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.
The critical question is fit: this is not a drop-in replacement for a standard M.2 drive or a microSD card. Your handheld must specifically support the Mini SSD format.
What the BIWIN CL100 Mini SSD is
BIWIN describes its Mini SSD as an ultra-small storage solution for edge-AI and mobile-computing devices. The module measures just 15.00 × 17.00 × 1.40 mm, making it substantially smaller than familiar 2280-size M.2 SSDs.
BIWIN’s product material uses both CL100 and BL100 names. The announcement calls it CL100 Mini SSD, while the product page calls it BL100 Mini SSD; check the model name on the listing and device documentation before ordering.

Will it fit your gaming handheld?
Only a dedicated Mini SSD socket makes the CL100 a suitable upgrade. A device having an M.2 slot, removable storage, or a microSD reader does not automatically support this module.

Before buying, confirm the exact model and revision in the manufacturer’s service manual or specification sheet, then verify that it identifies a Mini SSD slot and supports the capacity you want.
A practical compatibility check
- Record the complete device name, including its generation or revision.
- Look for “Mini SSD” in the official specifications or teardown/service documentation.
- Confirm the slot’s physical dimensions and interface rather than relying on a product photograph.
- Check whether the device firmware and operating system recognize the chosen 512 GB, 1 TB or 2 TB version.
- Back up your existing installation and follow the device maker’s replacement procedure before opening the chassis.
How fast is it in real use?
Up to 3,700 MB/s sequential read and 3,400 MB/s sequential write are the limits BIWIN publishes for the CL100/BL100. They indicate the potential of its PCIe 4.0 x2 NVMe interface under suitable conditions; they do not establish game-loading times, sustained-write behavior or thermal performance in a particular handheld.

What the CL100 is not
- Not a generic M.2 2230 or 2280 drive: connector layout, dimensions and host support can differ.
- Not a microSD card: it requires an internal Mini SSD slot.
- Not guaranteed to deliver its maximum speed: the published figures depend on the host system and test conditions.
Optional RD510 reader
BIWIN identifies the RD510 Mini SSD Reader as a companion for the CL100. The available information does not establish its current interface specifications, host compatibility or retail availability, so verify those details before treating it as an external enclosure or transfer tool.
Availability and buying cautions
Current worldwide pricing, stock, warranty terms, endurance ratings, controller and NAND details, thermal behavior and sustained-write performance were not established. A December 2025 report discussed Chinese-market listings, but those dated regional prices should not be treated as current global pricing.
For a purchase, match the exact module name and capacity to your handheld’s documentation, then confirm the seller’s region, return policy and warranty. Compatibility is more important than the “portable gaming” label or the headline speed.
