2. OneStream Live: a documented 24/7 option with a run cap
OneStream’s Help Center describes a dedicated 24/7 streaming setup for YouTube, with a selected duration capped at 30 days per scheduled run. Its separate prerecorded-stream workflow supports scheduling broadcasts as far as 60 days ahead and queuing multiple videos in playlists. Those two capabilities are not the same: scheduling prerecorded streams far ahead does not remove the 30-day maximum stated for the dedicated 24/7 feature.

The Help Center says the dedicated feature requires Enterprise. OneStream’s pricing page also displays a $30/month add-on for a 24-hour YouTube stream, while its Help Center describes Enterprise eligibility. Because the pricing display and feature eligibility may depend on plan or account details, confirm the applicable plan and total before purchase directly with OneStream pricing and its 24/7 guide.

3. Restream: looping is supported, but verify continuous-run limits
Restream’s Upload & Stream page describes uploading prerecorded videos, queuing them, scheduling them, and looping them. It presents 24/7 television, music, and news channels as possible use cases. The page lists three tiers with upload-library durations of two, four, and twelve hours and different stated maximum video qualities; these library durations are not evidence by themselves of a tier’s maximum continuous broadcast duration.

StreamYard’s pricing page positions its product around a browser studio, recorded streams, guests, and multistreaming. It lists prerecorded-stream limits of up to two hours on Core and up to four hours on Advanced; Core lists three multistream destinations and Advanced lists eight. These features can suit a hosted show or a scheduled program, but the listed durations are not a documented fit for one uninterrupted, always-on prerecorded channel.

5. OBS Studio on a spare computer: DIY, not cloud continuity
A locally run encoder can avoid a recurring cloud-streaming subscription if you already have suitable equipment, but it changes who carries the continuity burden. The computer, encoder session, power, and internet connection all need to remain available for the stream to continue. The reviewed sources do not establish specific OBS settings or compatibility details for this comparison, so verify current OBS and YouTube guidance before configuring an encoder. This is not equivalent to a cloud service that continues while your home machine is off.
Protect the YouTube archive separately
YouTube Help says it can automatically archive a live stream if it is less than 12 hours. If a stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all; YouTube recommends recording a local archive as backup. Do not rely on a multi-day broadcast producing one complete VOD. - Confirm the workflow: decide whether you need prerecorded looping, a live camera or encoder feed, or a produced show with guests. These are different jobs.
- Verify your destination and run limit: confirm YouTube is supported for the feature you intend to use and establish how long one run can last on your account.
- Check content rights: make sure you have the necessary rights to the video, music, and other material you plan to broadcast. A streaming service does not grant those rights.
- Test before relying on it: run a short broadcast, confirm the intended YouTube destination is active, and verify that the video and playlist behave as expected.
