PicSay Pro lets you add a quote as a title or word balloon and adjust its text and style, but Shinycore does not publish a list of included font names or rank them. So the best choice depends on how long the quote is, the mood you want, and whether the text stays easy to read over your photo.
Which PicSay Pro style should you use for a quote?
- Title: Use it for a standalone quote that should read like a caption or graphic headline.
- Word Balloon: Use it when the words represent speech or dialogue and should appear to come from a person or character.
Shinycore describes both options as text objects with different styles and fonts on its PicSay Pro product page. The page does not identify the font families available in the app.
How to add and edit a quote
- Open a picture in PicSay.
- Tap Stickers, then choose Title or Word Balloon.
- Enter your quote, then position and resize the object on the picture.
- Select the quote object or open its context menu and choose Edit to change the text and style.
- Preview the image at the size you intend to share. If the words are hard to read, adjust the style or placement.
These steps follow PicSay Help. The help page is old, so labels and controls may differ in a newer app build or Android version.
How to choose a font style that works
For longer quotes, prioritize readability
Choose an uncomplicated style with letterforms and spacing that remain clear across several lines. A highly decorative face may look distinctive but can make a long quote tiring to read, especially when the finished image is displayed small.

- UNFRAMED PRINT - I have to put this in for the people that don't read the words Unframed Print in the title. Of course if they didn't read the title or the words on the pictures they probably won't read this LOL. We tried. It's a print. It's not printed on the wood, stone, slate, matboard, or any other kind of substrate. It's not a thick sign, it's a print. It's not framed. That's why every picture says "Frame not Included". If you did read this far, Thank You.
- READY TO FRAME - You get one 11" x 14" print. 11" x 14" frames are super easy to buy here on Amazon or at any department or craft store. Choose the frames that work with your decor and the print!

Makes a great gift for your friends, husband, wife, son, daughter, mom, dad, co-workers, grandfather, grandmother, aunt, uncle, cousin, spouse, or boss.
- PERFECT FOR ANY ROOM - They look great in living rooms, dens, bedrooms, kitchens, entries, dining rooms, offices, dorms or garages. PROUDLY MADE IN TEXAS - All of my designs are printed and packaged at our studio in Tomball, TX by a hard-working group of employees that still care about producing quality products.
- LOVE IT OR SEND IT BACK - It's pretty simple, love it or we'll gladly take it back. That's it!
Match the tone without losing clarity
A serif-like treatment can feel formal, a handwritten look can feel casual, and a bold display style can add punch. These are general typography cues, not claims about specific PicSay Pro font names; choose only among the styles actually shown in your version of the app.
Check contrast against the photo
Text needs to stand apart from the image behind it. If a title blends into a busy area of the photo, try moving it to a simpler part of the image or using a word-balloon treatment where it suits the quote.

Save decorative styles for brief emphasis
Ornate or expressive lettering is usually easier to take in when it is limited to a short phrase. For a multi-line quote, a clearer style is generally the safer choice.
Does PicSay Pro include more fonts than free PicSay?
Yes. Shinycore’s PicSay FAQ says PicSay Pro has “more stickers, fonts, effects, and a lot of other features” than the free edition. It does not say which fonts are included, how many there are, or which one is best for quotes.

Can you add more fonts to PicSay Pro?
A third-party Android app catalog historically mentioned a font pack for PicSay Pro and referred to the Title Editor’s font menu. That is not confirmation from Shinycore that the pack is currently available, compatible with current Android builds, or installed by a particular procedure. The official product information confirms in-app font and style choices, but does not document importing additional fonts.
