If you want Perfect Dark-style stealth action, choose the game that matches the part you want most: Splinter Cell for spy infiltration, Dishonored for supernatural tools and improvisation, Deus Ex for missions with multiple approaches, or Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection for stealth and rooftop parkour. None is an exact substitute: they differ in perspective, setting, and emphasis.

For spy-thriller stealth action: Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is the clearest fit if what you want from Perfect Dark is spy-themed infiltration and action. Ubisoft describes it as a stealth-action thriller and lists PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U. The game was released on 20 August 2013, according to Ubisoft’s Blacklist game page. Ubisoft also states that its online multiplayer and co-op no longer function, so choose it for its solo experience rather than those modes.
The original Splinter Cell is a separate game, not another name for Blacklist. Its Xbox store description highlights interactive environments and the option to use lethal or non-lethal approaches, alongside climbing, mantling, interrogating, and sneaking. Those details make the series a natural match for players seeking deliberate spy infiltration, but check platform availability for the specific game you want.
For supernatural stealth and improvisation: Dishonored
Dishonored trades spy technology for extraordinary abilities in a plague-stricken city under corrupt rule. Bethesda names teleportation as a way to approach stealth, along with possession and the ability to stop time. These powers let you think beyond simply sneaking past guards: the setting and tools invite different ways to approach danger.

- EXPANSIVE CAMPAIGN: Many real-world locations have been captured using photogrammetry to recreate a living, immersive environment, and multiple infiltration and extraction points and kill list targets provide a whole new perspective on each mission. Take on the Nazi plot solo or work with a partner, with improved co-op mechanics allowing you to share ammo and items, give orders and heal each other.
- ADVANCED GUNPLAY PHYSICS AND TRAVERSAL: Use ziplines, slide down slopes and shimmy along ledges to reach the perfect vantage point, or to sneak past a sharp-eyed lookout. Factor in rifle stock and barrel options along with gravity, wind and heart rate while you line up your sights on the target.
- HIGH CALIBRE CUSTOMISATION: Use workbenches to customise and upgrade virtually every aspect of your weapon – change scopes, stocks, barrels, magazines and more. Alternatively, as Karl you can call for assistance and have a second sniper drop in to help you out of a tricky situation.
- TENSE ADVERSIAL MULTIPLAYER: Customise your character and loadout and earn XP, medals and ribbons as you take on intensely competitive 16 player battles that will really test your sharpshooting skills. If co-op’s more your style, you can team up with up to 3 other players against waves of enemies in Survival mode.
Bethesda’s comparison of Dishonored 2 and Prey says stealth is a greater focus in Dishonored; stealth exists in Prey, but is not central to its gameplay. If stealth is the priority, Dishonored is the more direct Arkane recommendation. Bethesda describes Dishonored: Definitive Edition as including the original game and additional content; confirm the platform and contents of the edition available in your region before buying.
For missions with multiple approaches: Deus Ex
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Eidos-Montréal says Human Revolution rewards stealth, social, hacking, or combat skills, and offers multiple approaches, paths, and tools. That flexibility makes it worth considering if you want to decide how to handle an objective rather than rely on stealth alone. The official page lists PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
PlayStation’s stealth-games editorial describes Mankind Divided as supporting stealth with non-lethal equipment or deadly force, alongside customizable weapons and augmentations. Like Human Revolution, it is a broader action-RPG-style experience, not a parkour-first game. Consider the pair when mission choice and tools matter more to you than rooftop traversal.
For rooftop parkour and stealth: Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection includes Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revelations, according to PlayStation. Its stealth and movement mechanics provide the strongest supported fit here for someone specifically asking for parkour: PlayStation describes using hidden blades, blending into crowds, hiding from view, and moving across rooftops while tracking targets.

The trade-off is a substantial change in perspective and setting. This is historical third-person action, not a first-person spy shooter. Choose it for the combination of stealth and rooftop traversal, rather than expecting it to reproduce Perfect Dark’s identity.

These recommendations are alternatives by feature, not interchangeable versions of the same game.
