Shure MV88+ Video Kit: a more complete mounted rig
The MV88+ Video Kit is worth considering when a stable phone mount, stereo capture, and headphone monitoring matter more than clipping a transmitter to a moving speaker. Shure lists a Manfrotto PIXI tripod, phone clamp and shoe mount, Lightning and USB-C cables, and headphone output. Its MOTIV Audio and Video apps provide controls including microphone gain and stereo width, alongside five DSP presets. Shure lists 24-bit/48 kHz recording and compatibility with most Windows and Mac computers and Android and iOS mobile devices. DJI Mic 2: wireless options and internal recording
DJI positions Mic 2 for vlogs, interviews, livestreams, and similar creator use. Its published connection options include USB-C and Lightning digital outputs and a 3.5 mm TRS analog output. DJI also lists intelligent noise cancelling and internal recording with 32-bit-float support. These options can make the system adaptable, but check the particular kit contents and the connection required by your phone. RØDE Wireless Micro: compact receiver, port-specific versions
Choose the USB-C or Lightning Wireless Micro to match the iPhone. RØDE’s setup instructions say to plug the receiver into the phone’s charging port and check that the case does not obstruct the connection. Connecting other RØDE wireless receivers and USB microphones
Connection requirements vary by product, so do not assume that one adapter or cable works across all RØDE microphones. RØDE documents USB-C digital audio output for Wireless GO II, Wireless GO (3rd Gen), Wireless PRO, and Wireless ME. Its guidance describes USB-C connections for USB-C devices and MFi-certified cables for Lightning iOS devices.
