1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesIf you want another cinematic treasure hunt with climbing and danger, start with Tomb Raider—especially Rise of the Tomb Raider. For a different kind of archaeological pulp, try Indiana Jones and the Great Circle; for exploration and traversal with lightsaber combat, choose STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor. If what you want most is character-led storytelling from Naughty Dog, The Last of Us Part I is a strong next game, but its emotional tone is much darker.
What to look for after The Lost Legacy
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy follows Chloe Frazer and mercenary Nadine Ross through India’s Western Ghats as they search for the Golden Tusk of Ganesh. PlayStation’s official game description highlights cinematic combat, varied environments, traversal, complex puzzles, and action set pieces. Those ingredients—not simply the fact that it is a third-person action game—make a useful basis for choosing what to play next.

The Uncharted franchise overview similarly emphasizes historical mysteries, global locations, complex characters, and blockbuster action. No other game here reproduces that exact combination, so the best pick depends on which part you want to carry forward.
Closest matches for treasure hunting and climbing
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Start here if you want the closest overall overlap in archaeological discovery, traversal, danger, and cinematic action. A recent recommendation roundup names Rise of the Tomb Raider its closest overall replacement. That is an editorial comparison, not an official equivalence or a result from hands-on testing.
#1 Best Overall
- From award-winning developer Naughty Dog comes a brand new Uncharted game, starring Chloe Frazer.
- Dynamic game play; cinematic combat; exploration
- Complex puzzles; jaw-dropping environments
Tomb Raider (2013)
Choose Tomb Raider (2013) for a direct cinematic action-adventure parallel. It is another grounded adventure centered on survival and exploration, making it a natural starting point if you want familiar genre elements rather than a radically different setting or combat system.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the pick if tombs, jungle danger, and exploration-heavy tension matter most. The roundup distinguishes it from the other Tomb Raider entries on those qualities; the recommendation is a taste match, not a claim that its pacing or mechanics are identical to The Lost Legacy.
Rank #2
- Critically-acclaimed developer Naughty Dog's standalone Uncharted adventure starring Chloe Frazer.
- Venture deep into India's Western Ghats as Chloe and Nadine recover an ancient artifact and fight their way through fierce opposition to prevent the region from falling into chaos.
- UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy will come with access to UNCHARTED 4: A Thief's End Multiplayer and Survival modes. Online multiplayer on PS4 requires a PlayStation Plus membership, sold separately.
- Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) Content Description: Blood, language, suggestive themes, use of alcohol and tobacco, violence
Other strong choices, by what you liked
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: archaeological pulp
For a new treasure hunt led by a different iconic adventurer, consider Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. It is the most direct option here for archaeology-led pulp, but its feel and mechanics differ from Chloe and Nadine’s blend of shooting and puzzles. Pick it for the premise and adventure mood, not as a one-for-one substitute.
STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor: traversal and exploration
STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor suits players drawn to movement through varied spaces, exploration, and action who are ready for a different combat identity. EA’s official description highlights stories, secrets, and treasures discovered through traversal skills, equipment, and rideable creatures, alongside obstacles, mysteries, and Force abilities. Expect lightsaber and Force combat rather than pistols and treasure-hunter banter.

The Last of Us Part I: character-focused storytelling, with a darker tone
If your main attachment is to Naughty Dog’s character work, The Last of Us Part I is a compelling narrative follow-up. PlayStation describes its emotional storytelling and memorable characters, and lists it for PS5 and PC on its official game page. It is a much heavier emotional experience, with tighter survival tension, so choose it for story rather than for the lighter treasure-hunt adventure mood.
More broad preference matches
- Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut: cinematic exploration and polished action in a samurai setting.
- Horizon Forbidden West: open-world scale, ruins, and traversal.
- Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: ensemble banter and blockbuster pacing.
- A Plague Tale: Requiem: darker, story-first progression.
These are broader matches for particular tastes, not games established as direct substitutes for The Lost Legacy.
Rank #4
- Seek your fortune and leave your mark on the map in the UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection.
- Uncover the thrilling cinematic storytelling and the largest blockbuster action set pieces in the UNCHARTED franchise
- Delivered by award winning developer Naughty Dog, the UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection includes the two critically-acclaimed UNCHARTED 4: A Thief's End and UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy.
- Each story is filled with laughs, drama, high octane combat, and a sense of wonder - remastered to be even more immersive.
- Live the adventure like never before with the features and incredible speed of the PlayStation 5 console.
Choose by the part of Uncharted you want more of
| If you want… | Start with | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Treasure hunting, climbing, and grounded adventure | Rise of the Tomb Raider | A different heroine and adventure, but the closest overall comparison in the roundup. |
| Tombs, jungle danger, and exploration tension | Shadow of the Tomb Raider | It leans into those elements rather than matching every part of Uncharted. |
| Archaeological pulp | Indiana Jones and the Great Circle | A different protagonist and distinct mechanics. |
| Traversal and large adventure spaces | STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor | Force and lightsaber combat replace the treasure-hunter shooter blend. |
| Naughty Dog character storytelling | The Last of Us Part I | A substantially heavier emotional register and survival focus. |
| Ensemble banter, spectacle, or open-world exploration | Guardians of the Galaxy, Horizon Forbidden West, or Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut | Each matches a broad preference, rather than the full combination of Uncharted traits. |
Before moving on, check whether you have played Uncharted 4
If you have not played Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, it is the most direct same-series next step. PlayStation’s Legacy of Thieves Collection page says the collection includes the single-player stories from both Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy, remastered for PS5 and PC. PlayStation’s FAQ says the games have distinct stories and can be enjoyed without playing every other entry, while the series still has continuity. If you already own The Lost Legacy, note that it is included in the collection before buying. The US PlayStation Direct page lists a PS5 disc edition; check current stock and confirm your console has a compatible disc drive before purchase: PlayStation Direct product page.
