If you want another co-op dungeon-crawling game, the best fit depends on whether your group values loot and quests, a two-player action-adventure, or replayable online roguelike runs.

What makes a game a good alternative to Minecraft Dungeons II?

Torchlight II: best for online loot-and-quest groups
Torchlight II is the strongest match here if your group wants an action RPG built around quests, loot, and dungeon exploration. Its official site describes online and LAN co-op, matchmaking, outdoor areas, ruins and caverns, and random dungeons. That combination makes it a natural choice for a party that wants to explore and gear up together.
The important caveat is the co-op format: the cited official page confirms online and LAN play, but does not establish couch co-op. Darksiders Genesis: best for a two-player action-adventure
Darksiders Genesis is a better fit for a pair than for a larger party. It features the characters War and Strife, and the cited PlayStation listing specifies two-player co-op. Nintendo also lists a Switch edition, but that listing alone does not establish the multiplayer details for every platform or edition.
Choose it when a two-person group prefers top-down fantasy action-adventure over a four-player party game. Do not plan around four-player co-op: the cited PlayStation page supports two players. Check the relevant platform listing for its edition and current availability: THQ Nordic’s game page, Nintendo’s Switch listing, and the PlayStation listing.

Ravenswatch suits groups who want repeatable roguelike action rather than a campaign-first action RPG. Pick it if replayable runs matter more to your group than a connected campaign world or conventional quest-and-loot progression.
