Flight time, range and batteries
Maximum flight time and control range are not the same as a guaranteed usable session or safe operating distance. Compare the stated limits, charging time, spare-battery availability and replacement cost. For the Tello, Ryze specifies up to 13 minutes and 100 m; the HS175D guide reports 23-minute batteries and 500 m range. Conditions and local rules affect actual use.
Weight, portability and local rules
The Tello is 87 g and the HS175D is reported at 215 g. TechRadar’s guidance notes that drones over 250 g generally attract registration requirements, but rules depend on where and how you fly.
