First, match the band to your Apple Watch Series 12 case size: Apple announced 42mm and 46mm models. Apple’s compatibility guide groups 42mm bands with 42mm, 44mm, and 45mm cases, while 46mm bands fit 44mm, 45mm, and 46mm cases. For third-party bands—and for any case or variant whose fit is not explicitly covered—check the maker’s compatibility list before buying. A band that will not slide into its slot easily should not be forced.
