Consider Sony WF-1000XM6 or Technics EAH-AZ100 for a premium all-rounder, Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro for a Galaxy phone, and Soundcore or Nothing models for lower-cost options. These are recommendations from separate review guides, not results of one controlled head-to-head test.
Quick picks by priority
| Priority | Alternative | Why consider it |
|---|---|---|
| Premium Android pick | Sony WF-1000XM6 | RTINGS names it its top Android pick. RTINGS’ Android earbuds guide. |
| Another premium option | Technics EAH-AZ100 | TechRadar names it its overall favorite and includes it among Android options. TechRadar’s wireless earbuds guide. |
| Samsung phone | Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro | RTINGS highlights Samsung-specific codec and game-mode functions; some advanced features are tied to Samsung devices. |
| Mid-range | Anker Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro | RTINGS’ mid-range pick, with reported LDAC support and multipoint for three devices. |
| Lower mid-range | Nothing Ear (3) | Reported ANC, LDAC, two-device multipoint and parametric EQ in the Android-compatible companion app. |
| Budget | Anker Soundcore Space A40 or Nothing Ear (a) | Space A40 has five tip sizes and an RTINGS report of more than eight hours of continuous ANC-on use; TechRadar’s Nothing Ear (a) test table reports 5.5 hours with ANC on and notes LDAC and two-device multipoint. |
| ANC first | Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) | TechRadar recommends them for readers prioritizing strong ANC; that is its editorial assessment, not a universal ranking. |
Battery figures above come from different review contexts and should not be treated as directly comparable measurements. Check local prices and stock before buying; the review guides do not establish a consistent live price comparison for every market.
Which premium alternative should you choose?
Sony WF-1000XM6 for a cross-brand Android shortlist
RTINGS identifies the Sony WF-1000XM6 as its top pick for Android. That makes it a useful starting point if you want a premium option without choosing around Samsung-specific features. The recommendation reflects RTINGS’ criteria; TechRadar’s separate guide favors the Technics EAH-AZ100 overall, so the two outlets do not establish a single consensus winner.
Technics EAH-AZ100 as another premium choice
TechRadar presents the Technics EAH-AZ100 as its overall favorite and one of its Android options. Consider it alongside Sony if you are shopping at the premium end, but compare the features that matter to you—especially fit, controls, battery mode and multipoint—rather than assuming the editorial rankings are interchangeable.
#1 Best Overall
- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) for ANC priority
TechRadar points readers who prioritize noise cancellation toward the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen). Treat “strong ANC” here as that publication’s judgment. Noise cancellation is affected by fit and by the reviewer’s test conditions, so it is not a controlled comparison against the other recommendations in RTINGS’ guide.
When Galaxy Buds4 Pro make more sense
For a Samsung Galaxy phone owner, RTINGS recommends Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro and notes Samsung-specific codec and game-mode functionality. General Android compatibility does not guarantee access to every advanced feature on phones from other brands. RTINGS’ guide reports six hours of continuous battery use for this model in its review context, making endurance worth weighing against the ecosystem features.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
If you use a non-Samsung Android phone, check which features remain available on your handset before choosing them for a feature that depends on Samsung’s ecosystem.
Mid-range and lower-cost choices
Anker Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro: mid-range and multipoint
RTINGS names the Anker Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro its mid-range Android pick. The guide reports support for LDAC and multipoint connections to three devices. That capacity may suit someone switching among a phone, tablet and computer, but check that your phone and listening app support the codec you intend to use.

Nothing Ear (3): lower mid-range with adjustable EQ
RTINGS describes the Nothing Ear (3) as a lower mid-range option with ANC, LDAC, two-device multipoint and parametric EQ through its Android-compatible companion app. It reports 5.3 hours of continuous battery life in its review context and says its ANC falls short of the strongest models. This is a better fit for a buyer who values app-based sound adjustment and connection flexibility than for someone putting noise cancellation first.
Soundcore Space A40: budget pick with multiple tip sizes
RTINGS’ budget recommendation is the Anker Soundcore Space A40. Its review reports more than eight hours of continuous use with ANC on and five ear-tip sizes. More included tip options can help you find a stable seal, but fit is individual; check the return policy and wear comfort before relying on any claimed noise-cancelling performance.

Nothing Ear (a): another budget option
TechRadar also recommends Nothing Ear (a) as a budget alternative. It notes LDAC and two-device multipoint, and its test table reports 5.5 hours with ANC on. That figure is from TechRadar’s test context, not a promise for every listener or a directly comparable result to Space A40’s RTINGS figure.
How to compare these earbuds for your Android phone
- Start with the phone ecosystem. If a recommendation depends on Samsung-specific features, confirm that your handset supports them. Android compatibility by itself does not mean every function works on every phone.
- Match battery figures by mode. Look for whether a stated runtime is with ANC on or off and whether it refers to the earbuds or includes the charging case. The figures cited here are ANC-on continuous-use results from different review contexts; they are not a head-to-head battery test.
- Check codec support end to end. LDAC appears in the cited guides for Nothing Ear (3), Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro and Nothing Ear (a). To use it, your phone and app must also support it, and the benefit depends on your listening habits.
- Count multipoint connections you will actually use. RTINGS reports three-device multipoint for Liberty 5 Pro and two-device multipoint for Nothing Ear (3); TechRadar notes two-device multipoint for Nothing Ear (a). Verify the behavior you need before buying.
- Prioritize fit. A secure seal affects comfort and how well earbuds block outside sound. Try the included tips, consider your activity, and check the retailer’s return terms.
- Check current local pricing and availability. Prices and stock vary by market and were not consistently checked in the cited guides, so confirm them close to purchase.
What about Pixel Buds Pro 2?
Google’s official page presents Pixel Buds Pro 2 as the successor in the Pixel Buds line, not an alternative to it. If you want to stay with Google’s earbuds, consult the Google Store Pixel Buds Pro 2 page; for a replacement from another brand, compare the models above against your phone ecosystem and priorities.
