For the AION 2 Global build, start with NCSoft’s FHD preset guidance: Very Low on a PC that meets the minimum requirements, or Low on a PC that meets the recommended requirements. If your PC is near minimum spec, use the more detailed low-spec profile below as a starting point, then adjust one setting at a time in a demanding scene. No cited source establishes one best configuration or an FPS result that applies to every PC.
Start with the official AION 2 Global preset
NCSoft’s Global support listing, dated July 21, 2026, recommends these FHD graphics presets for compatibility:
- Minimum-tier PC: Very Low.
- Recommended-tier PC: Low.
These are official starting points, not promises of a particular frame rate. For the Global build, use the following hardware requirements to judge which tier is closer to your system. NCSoft AION 2 Global Support

These are NCSoft’s published Global requirements, not a guarantee that every PC at a given tier will perform identically. A PC that falls between tiers can begin at Very Low or Low and tune from there.

Low-spec settings to try near the minimum requirements
Playnews published this more granular profile for PCs near minimum spec. It is third-party guidance, not an NCSoft preset or the result of controlled tests across different hardware. Use it as a first pass if the official Very Low preset is not enough or you want to make selective adjustments. Playnews

The same third-party guide lists these secondary options: particle effect display for everyone, volumetric fog on, ambient occlusion NCAO, water reflection method Performance, tier icon on, and identical player appearance off. These are optional guide settings, not official requirements.

Adjust settings without guessing at an FPS target
Neither NCSoft’s requirements listing nor the third-party low-spec guide provides controlled FPS or frame-time comparisons across PCs. Your result depends on your components, resolution, game scene, and other conditions; the available sources do not establish a best profile by GPU, CPU, PvP crowd size, driver version, or frame-rate target.
- Choose the official FHD preset closest to your hardware tier, or use the low-spec table if your PC is near minimum requirements.
- Test in a scene that is demanding for you, such as a busy area or mass battle, rather than judging only from a quiet location.
- Change one graphics setting at a time and check whether the change improves smoothness without making the image quality unacceptable.
- If you use VSync, assess display synchronization and tearing separately from internet latency. The guide’s VSync suggestion does not establish that it fixes a network connection problem.
Global and Korea settings are not identical
NCSoft’s Korea requirements page uses different CPU model suffixes and lists AMD graphics-card alternatives; its FHD quick-setting guidance also differs for the recommended tier. It specifies Very Low for minimum and Normal for recommended, while the Global support listing specifies Very Low and Low, respectively. Do not combine the regional requirements or presets as if they were one universal specification. NCSoft AION 2 Korea

Storage: an SSD is recommended, not an FPS fix
NCSoft lists 100 GB of free storage and recommends an SSD for both Global requirement tiers. The listing does not claim that an SSD by itself raises frame rates, and it does not say that every PC supports NVMe. Treat storage as a capacity and installation requirement, not a graphics-performance tweak.
