Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 share workout heart-rate readings with Apple Fitness and Health on iPhone, and TechRadar reported a Prime Day price of $179.95 in the US and £179 in the UK on October 7, 2026. The deal is not equally historic in both markets: TechRadar said the US price returned to its previous low, while the UK price had fallen to £141 in December 2025.
Do Powerbeats Pro 2 track heart rate on iPhone?
Yes. With at least one earbud worn, Powerbeats Pro 2 can share heart-rate readings with Apple Fitness workouts and the Health app. Apple also supports sharing with compatible third-party workout apps and compatible gym equipment. A third-party iPhone app needs HealthKit support, and you must grant it permission to access the relevant Health data. Apple’s setup and compatibility guidance explains the sharing workflow.
The earbuds do not separately record or store heart-rate data: Apple says that on iPhone, readings are shared directly and securely with Fitness and Health. Beats also cautions that the earbuds and their heart-rate sensor are not medical devices, so workout readings should not be treated as a diagnosis.
How to use heart-rate sharing with an iPhone
- Wear at least one earbud. Apple says one or both earbuds must be worn for iPhone heart-rate sharing.
- Start an Apple Fitness workout or a compatible app. For a third-party iPhone workout app, check that it supports HealthKit and allow the requested Health access.
- Check the reading during your session. If it is weak or appears as dashes, adjust the earbud fit; Apple specifically recommends checking fit when readings are missing or unclear.
What the Prime Day price means by region
TechRadar’s October 7, 2026 deal report listed the Powerbeats Pro 2 at $179.95 at Amazon in the US and £179 at Amazon in the UK, against regular prices near $249 and £249 respectively. TechRadar described the US offer as a return to the lowest price it had seen; it also reported that the UK price had briefly reached £141 in December 2025. That makes “lowest ever” a US-specific characterization in that report, not a claim that applies equally to both countries. Prices and stock can change, so confirm the listing for your region before buying. TechRadar’s deal report is the source for those dated prices and price-history statements.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Why they suit workouts—and what to weigh against
The ear hooks are designed to keep the earbuds secure during exercise, while heart-rate sharing connects the workout to Apple’s fitness and health software. TechRadar’s reviewer Becky Scarrott described the product’s appeal this way: “The reason the Powerbeats Pro 2 get the rating they do is their enviable 45-hour maximum battery life, excellent in-ear security, talented head-tracked spatial support in Apple Music, and a useful heart-rate monitor for your workouts.” That is Scarrott’s review assessment, not a universal fit guarantee.
Beats claims up to 45 hours of listening time in Adaptive EQ mode: up to 10 hours from the earbuds and 35 additional hours from the case. This is the manufacturer’s maximum figure, not an independently measured result. The case supports Qi wireless charging, and the product also includes an Apple H2 chip and head-tracked spatial audio, according to TechRadar’s deal coverage. Beats’ support page provides its battery claim and Android app support information.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Consider the main trade-off before choosing them: TechRadar warns that listeners prioritizing strong active noise cancellation may prefer another option. Its author also reported preferring the Powerbeats Pro 2’s workout fit and stability to AirPods Pro 3 in their workout use; that is an attributed personal comparison, not a claim that they will fit everyone better. For an iPhone owner who values ear-hook security and heart-rate sharing, those features may matter more than maximizing noise cancellation.
