What was the Beoplay H100 launch price?
At launch on September 3, 2024, What Hi-Fi reported prices of £1,299 in the U.K. and $1,549 in the U.S., with availability directly from Bang & Olufsen. Bang & Olufsen Japan’s release listed ¥229,900 for Japan and named Amazon.co.jp, its official online store and other local retailers as launch channels. These are launch-era prices and availability details, not current quotes. The retrieved U.S. product page did not provide a verifiable current price, so check a live seller for today’s price and stock.
What do you get for the price?
Bang & Olufsen describes the H100 as over-ear headphones with titanium drivers, noise cancellation, Dolby Atmos optimization and an included leather pouch. Its June 2025 product sheet gives more detail on the listed hardware and features:
- Drivers and weight: 40 mm electro-dynamic titanium drivers; 375 g headphone weight.
- Wireless and wired connections: Bluetooth 5.3 and multipoint connection to two devices. The box includes a 1.25 m USB-C-to-3.5 mm cable and a 1.25 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable.
- Audio features: Spatial audio with head tracking, USB audio Hi-Res support up to 24-bit/96 kHz, and EarSense compensation.
- Controls and sensing: Ten microphones, TrueTransparency, a haptic dial, and automatic power and playback features.
These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not independent measurements of sound quality, comfort or transparency performance. The available product sheet lists SBC and AAC codecs and two-device multipoint. Although B&O Japan described wireless hi-res codecs and three-device multipoint as future plans for 2025, the available evidence does not establish whether later software updates delivered those changes.

How long does the battery last?
Bang & Olufsen Support’s guidance, retrieved October 4, 2026, lists these “up to” figures:

B&O says volume, music intensity and equalizer settings affect runtime. These are manufacturer estimates, not a guarantee of the same result for every listener. The 32-hour ANC figure is the relevant current support claim; a 2024 What Hi-Fi launch report gave a different figure of up to 34 hours, so the two should not be treated as results from identical conditions.

The same support guidance says a full charge can last up to three months in sleep mode outside the pouch, or more than a year in deep sleep inside the pouch when the headphones are oriented with the headband toward the zipper. Those figures concern storage, not listening time.
What does the H100’s noise cancellation do?
Bang & Olufsen describes a hybrid feed-forward and feedback active noise-cancellation system. External microphones measure surrounding sound; internal microphones sense music and lower-to-mid ambient noise, and the system generates anti-noise. The company says its algorithm adapts as the sound around the listener changes. B&O also says the memory-foam and leather earcups provide passive isolation. These descriptions explain the design, but do not establish how the H100 compares with competitors in independent testing.

Can the Beoplay H100 be repaired?
Bang & Olufsen says owners can remove and replace the inner headband and ear cushions. It says service staff can replace major components including the battery, glass surface, drivers and circuit boards. That makes the design more serviceable than a product with no documented replacement path, but it is not a promise of indefinite life. Current part listings, availability and service costs were not established, so verify compatibility and repair options with B&O before buying replacements or planning a repair.
The company’s 2024 release said it aimed to obtain formal Cradle to Cradle certification during 2025. The available sources do not establish that the H100 later received that certification.

Is the H100 worth $1,549?
The $1,549 figure describes the U.S. launch price, not a confirmed current selling price. At that launch positioning, the H100 is for buyers who value B&O’s materials and design, its feature set and a stated path for replacing several components. The specifications do not prove superior sound, comfort or noise cancellation, and the available sources do not provide a matched independent comparison against alternatives such as the Mark Levinson No. 5909 or T+A Solitaire T, which What Hi-Fi mentioned as price context.
For a purchase decision, compare current prices in your region and look for independent tests using comparable conditions. Useful points of comparison include ANC and transparency performance, battery runtime with the same features enabled, comfort and weight, codecs and wired options, repair process and cost, warranty, and assessed sound quality. The launch price alone cannot answer whether the H100 is worth its current price to you.
