Xiaodu AI Glasses are a camera-and-audio wearable built around Baidu’s AI and services. Baidu unveiled the original glasses at Baidu World 2024. TechNode reported that the company planned a first-half 2025 release, but that announcement-era schedule is separate from the later retail report for Xiaodu Pro.

The name covers two distinct moments: the original product announcement in November 2024 and a Xiaodu Pro sales report in November 2025. The specifications announced for the original glasses should not automatically be treated as confirmed specifications for Pro.

The original announcement described first-person photography, on-the-go questions, object identification and encyclopedia lookup, calorie recognition, audiovisual translation, and reminders. Functions reported for Xiaodu Pro
Yicai reported that Xiaodu Pro supports photography and video capture, AI translation, object recognition, reminders, and recording. Its report does not establish that every function or specification announced for the original model carried over unchanged to Pro.

TechNode and Gizmochina reported these figures as Baidu’s announcement-era specifications in 2024. They are not independent test results.

Do Xiaodu AI Glasses have an AR display?
No display is reported for Xiaodu Pro. Its described use centers on a camera, audio, and AI functions, so it is more accurately described as AI smart glasses than as display-based AR eyewear. Yicai’s November 2025 report is the source for the Pro display detail.
When did Xiaodu Pro go on sale, and how much did it cost?
Yicai reported that Xiaodu Pro sales began through JD.com and Tmall on November 11, 2025, at CNY 2,299. The article also gave a USD equivalent of $322. This is a dated China-market launch price, not a verified current price or a quote for the original 2024 model.
Can you buy Xiaodu AI Glasses outside China or on Amazon?
The available availability reporting covers sales through Chinese marketplaces JD.com and Tmall. It does not establish international distribution, Amazon inventory, prescription-lens compatibility, or compatible accessories. Check the seller, region, and exact model before relying on a listing or assuming it will work with your needs.

The announced features suggest a glasses-based way to capture scenes and ask questions without holding a phone, but launch descriptions alone do not establish how reliably those functions work in everyday use. No independent testing is established in the cited reports. Yicai quoted Xreal founder Xu Chi saying, “The AI experience of smart glasses is still not as user-friendly as smartphones or AI apps.” That comment is a market perspective, not a test of Xiaodu specifically.
Yicai also reported an IDC forecast that 2025 smart-glasses shipments could grow 121% to more than 2.9 million. Its breakdown—nearly 2.17 million audio or audio-capturing glasses and about 742,000 AR/VR glasses—was a forecast reported by Yicai, not a final shipment result or a direct IDC report.
