Here is Pocket Gamer’s published Arcana Tactics hero tier list, grouped from S to D. It is one guide’s editorial ranking—not an official in-game rating—and the guide’s displayed update date is inconsistent: the page says September 15, 2026, while its search preview says October 6, 2026. Treat the list as a starting point, then weigh heroes against your available fusions, Arcana, and game mode.
How to read this Arcana Tactics tier list
Pocket Gamer places heroes in five tiers: S is its top group, A contains strong alternatives, B is described as a beginner-oriented middle group, C as weak in mid-game, and D as the weakest group. These labels reflect the guide’s judgments, not official game classifications or measured win rates. The sources reviewed do not establish one universal or official hero ranking.
The published page identifies version 5.4.0 and says it was updated September 15, 2026; its search preview instead says October 6, 2026. That date discrepancy is unresolved. Apple’s App Store version history lists version 5.4.0 on June 2, 2025, which does not independently verify a 2026 game version. See Pocket Gamer’s tier list and the App Store listing for the published details.

How to use the rankings for your roster
Arcana Tactics is described in its official App Store listing as a tactical random-defense RPG built around hero fusions. The listing says players can create over 160 heroes, use 70 Arcana cards, and play real-time PvP. These systems matter when judging a tier: the list is not a promise that you can simply choose your highest-ranked unlocked heroes for every fight. A hero’s usefulness depends on the situation, the lineup you can build through fusion, and the Arcana available to support it.
Rank #4
- EXCLUSIVELY DESIGNED FOR TWO PLAYERS: Res Arcana Duo offers a tailored gameplay experience specifically for two players, making it an intense and competitive duel of magical mastery.
- QUICK AND STRATEGIC PLAY: Enjoy fast-paced gameplay lasting only about 20 minutes, perfect for players looking for a strategy game that’s both deep and accessible within a short period.
- EXPANDABLE GAME SYSTEM: Use Res Arcana Duo as a standalone game or expand your gameplay with additional sets from the Res Arcana series for even more depth and strategy.
- RICH FANTASY THEME: Dive into a beautifully illustrated world of ancient relics and mystical creatures with artwork by Julien Delval, and engage in a battle of wits and magic.
- HIGH REPLAYABILITY: Comes with a variety of mages, artifacts, monuments, and places of power, ensuring that no two games are the same and offering a unique challenge every time.
- Start with the mode or stage. A broad tier label does not tell you how a hero performs in every stage or in real-time PvP.
- Consider role and synergy. Ask whether a hero’s role and skills fit the lineup you can assemble, rather than ranking the hero in isolation.
- Account for fusion and Arcana. Your available combinations and cards shape which strategies you can actually use.
- Check the guide’s date and version. The published date is disputed, and rankings can change as a game and its guides are revised.
The official details are in the App Store listing for Arcana Tactics. It reports the game’s systems and content counts; those counts are not measures of hero strength.

BlueStacks publishes a separate Arcana Tactics tier list for heroes and Arcana cards. It places Soul Bow, Vampire, Bounty Hunter, Cavalier, and Dream Painter in its top group, all of which also appear in Pocket Gamer’s S tier. But BlueStacks uses a different tier structure and framing, and its publication date was not confirmed in the reviewed page text. That is not a direct contradiction: the guides are not shown to use the same criteria or rating system.
