Apple’s India product page says pre-orders began at 5:30 p.m. IST on 12 September 2026 and the phone became available on 18 September 2026. It is therefore a released model in India, not an upcoming phone.

Processor and graphics
Apple specifies an A20 Pro chip with a 6-core CPU, a 7-core GPU with Neural Accelerators and a dual 16-core Neural Engine. The listed graphics features include hardware-accelerated ray tracing. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent benchmark results.
Rear cameras
Apple describes the rear setup as a 48MP Pro Fusion camera system. Its three cameras are a 48MP main camera with variable aperture (ƒ/1.48, ƒ/1.8, ƒ/2.8 and ƒ/4.0), a 48MP ultra-wide camera and a 48MP telephoto camera.

Apple’s product page identifies an 18MP Center Stage front camera, Ultra-stabilised video and Dual Capture. It also lists Center Stage for photos and video calls.

- Connectivity: 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, Thread, second-generation Ultra Wideband and NFC.
- Port: USB-C, with USB 3 transfer speeds up to 10 Gbps.
- Wireless charging: MagSafe and Qi2 up to 25W.
- Wired charging: Apple says a compatible power adapter can charge the phone to 50% in around 15 minutes. The stated speed depends on using a compatible adapter; it is not a guarantee for every charger.
Software and Apple Intelligence
The phone ships with iOS 27 and supports Apple Intelligence. Apple says Siri AI is rolling out in English; its September 2026 announcement describes Siri AI as rolling out in beta with iOS 27. iPhone 18 Pro vs iPhone 18 Pro Max
The most direct published differences are screen size and weight. Apple lists the Pro Max at 6.9 inches and 249 g, compared with the Pro’s 6.3 inches and 211 g. The Pro Max is larger and heavier; choose between them based on your preference for screen space and handling, then compare the exact capacity and finish prices.
Apple advertises up to 43 hours of video playback for the Pro Max. This is Apple’s claim under its stated test conditions, not an independently measured estimate of everyday use. The figure is for Pro Max and should not be attributed to the iPhone 18 Pro.
