Choose the Anker Nebula P1 if you want detachable wireless speakers and a built-in 130° gimbal and can supply power externally. Choose the XGIMI MoGo 3 Pro if lower carry weight, automated setup, licensed Netflix, and compatibility with a 65W USB-C power bank matter more. The P1 has no internal battery, and the MoGo 3 Pro’s optional PowerBase Stand is sold separately. Neither projector has a cited controlled head-to-head test that settles which looks better.
How the Nebula P1 and MoGo 3 Pro compare
Both projectors are specified at 1920×1080 resolution. The remaining figures below come from their manufacturers, not a controlled comparison of the two models. In particular, the brightness numbers use different measurement standards.

Which is easier to carry and power?
MoGo 3 Pro is the lighter option
XGIMI lists the MoGo 3 Pro at 1.1 kg, compared with Anker Japan’s roughly 2.4 kg figure for the P1. That makes the MoGo the more convenient choice if you carry the projector frequently. The P1’s different form factor includes its detachable speaker system, so weight alone does not describe every difference in how the two are packed.
Neither has an internal battery
“Portable” does not mean either projector runs on a battery built into the unit. The P1 needs an external power source. What Hi-Fi? reports that an external USB-C source must meet a 100 W minimum; it also reports Anker’s claim that its 737 Power Bank can provide one hour in a stated full-brightness configuration. That hour is a manufacturer claim cited by the reviewer, not an independent runtime test.

XGIMI says the MoGo 3 Pro supports a Type-C 65W power bank or an external supply. Its PowerBase Stand is an additional purchase, not part of the projector itself. Check the power output and regional compatibility of any bank before relying on it.
Do the brightness figures show which has the better picture?
No. Anker lists the P1 at 650 ANSI lumens, while XGIMI lists the MoGo 3 Pro at 450 ISO lumens. Because those figures use different measurement standards, comparing them as if they were measured on the same scale would be misleading. No controlled, same-condition test of these exact models is cited here, so the specifications do not establish a picture-quality winner.

Both manufacturers specify 1080p resolution, but matching resolution does not prove that contrast, color, brightness in real rooms, or overall image quality is equal. Anker lists a 400:1 contrast ratio for the P1; XGIMI lists 90% DCI-P3 for the MoGo 3 Pro. These are manufacturer specifications, not a like-for-like independent test.
Choose a screen size for the room
XGIMI recommends 60–120 inches for best viewing, while its technical specification lists a wider 40–200-inch range. Anker advertises 20–180 inches and gives recommended distance examples of 60 inches at 1.59 m and 120 inches at 3.19 m. Anker’s FAQ says manual keystone adjustment may be needed if projection distance is outside its stated 4 m condition. Treat advertised ranges as placement guidance, not a promise of equally suitable results at every size.

How do their speakers and setup features differ?
P1: place its speakers separately
The P1’s satellite speakers detach wirelessly, letting you place sound away from the projector. Anker Japan lists combined speaker output of 20 W and Dolby Audio. That layout is useful when you want the sound sources positioned separately, but the design distinction does not establish that it will sound better in every room.
MoGo 3 Pro: speakers stay built in
The MoGo 3 Pro has two 5 W Harman/Kardon speakers. Its stand rotates up to 130°, and XGIMI advertises ISA 2.0 features for autofocus, automatic keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, and screen alignment. These features can reduce manual setup, but they are not a guarantee that the picture will align correctly in every placement.

Which smart projector is the better fit?
Both use Google TV. XGIMI specifically states that the MoGo 3 Pro has a licensed Netflix app. What Hi-Fi? describes major streaming apps on the P1 and notes regional app caveats; availability can vary by market and over time. Check the apps you rely on in your region before buying rather than assuming every service works identically on both.

Choose the Nebula P1 if…
- You want detachable wireless speakers that can be placed apart from the projector.
- The integrated gimbal and Anker’s advertised image-size range suit your placement needs.
- You have access to mains power or are willing to bring a compatible external power source.
Choose the MoGo 3 Pro if…
- You prioritize the lower manufacturer-listed carry weight.
- You want XGIMI’s stated 65W USB-C power-bank support and automated placement features.
- Licensed Netflix on the projector is important, and you accept that the PowerBase Stand is separate.
If picture quality is your deciding factor
The available reviews do not resolve a direct P1-versus-MoGo 3 Pro image-quality contest. What Hi-Fi?’s P1 review compares it with the MoGo 4, not the MoGo 3 Pro; TechRadar also reviews the P1 rather than establishing a controlled comparison of these two models. If image quality is the deciding factor, look for a demonstration or independent review that evaluates both exact models under comparable conditions.

What independent reviews can—and cannot—tell you
What Hi-Fi? and TechRadar provide observations and design context for the Nebula P1, but neither establishes a controlled head-to-head result against the MoGo 3 Pro. Treat product-page specifications as manufacturer claims and review-room observations as specific to the reviewer’s sample, room, and settings.
The P1’s manufacturer-stated light-source lifespan is 25,000 hours, and Anker’s FAQ reports 27 dB at one metre from Anker Labs. XGIMI states an expected 25,000-hour light-source life for the MoGo 3 Pro. These are company figures, not comparative long-term measurements.
How to compare prices in your country
Anker Japan’s cited product page lists ¥149,900 for the P1; that is a Japan-market price and should not be treated as a price for another country. XGIMI’s storefront price can vary by region and over time. Compare current local prices and whether the MoGo 3 Pro PowerBase Stand is included before judging total cost.
